Lord of the Oasis Chapter 764: .The sadness of leaving without saying goodbye

Gilbert opened his eyes after hearing Austin's steady breathing. He walked out of bed slowly, turned around and glanced at Austin who was sleeping, and left the room decisively.

Going to the corridor of the guest room, Gilbert walked to the room where DeWitt and the others were.

After hearing the voices of people talking inside, I raised my hand and knocked gently on the door.

DeWitt and the others stopped talking when they heard the knock on the door. Abel picked up the weapon placed by the bed and leaned cautiously towards the door.

DeWitt and Claremont also got out of bed and followed behind Abel, ready to fight.

"Who?" Abel whispered out the door.

"Gilbert." A thin voice came through the crack of the door.

DeWitt frowned oddly, as if wondering why Gilbert had come to them at this time.

After the three looked at each other, Abel slowly opened the door. Gilbert rushed in from the door immediately, he was not even half the height of Abel. This time it is more flexible and light.

"I'm leaving soon, and I'm here to say goodbye to you." Gilbert sat down on the chair in the room and said softly.

"Now?" DeWitt asked, looking at the dark sky outside the window.

"Yes," Gilbert nodded and said, "Thank you for your care during this time."

Claymont said hesitantly, "The one who took care of you the longest during this time was Austin. Did you say goodbye to him?"

"No." Gilbert shook his head sadly and said, "I'm afraid I'll be reluctant to leave."

DeWitt saw Abel's expression of hesitating to speak, and motioned for him not to speak.

"I'm here to find you this time for Austinger." Gilbert took a sip of his tea and continued, "I hope you can take good care of him. You agreed to my request before and won't break your promise."

"Of course," Devitt said, "and Austin is our soldier, and it's our responsibility to take care of him."

"Well, that's fine." Gilbert stood up and said, "Goodbye."

Claymont finally couldn't help but ask, "Why did you leave so hastily that there was no time to part?"

"No more." Gilbert raised the corner of his mouth and said with a pale smile: "The rest of the time can only be spent on trying to live or die."

When the three adults heard this sentence, their faces showed a trace of unbearable.

"Hope you succeed," Abel said.

"Thank you." Gilbert said, bending slightly. "If I die, please don't tell Austinger."

After saying this, Gilbert turned and left without any hesitation.

Roll over the railings in the hallway and jump to the lobby on the first floor. There was no sound during the whole process.

The three of DeWitt stood in the corridor, watching Gilbert break through the door.

Claremont sighed and said, "Even though he's just an underage child, he looks like a young adult. Between him and Austinger, I really don't know who is taking care of who."

"Take care of each other." DeWitt replied softly, "Their relationship goes both ways."

In the early morning of the next day, the entire hotel was awakened by the screams of the innkeeper.

"My door! Who broke my door!" The innkeeper's face turned green.

Able, who had not woken up yet, got out of bed, walked to the corridor on the second floor, and shouted to the downstairs: "Boss, I'm sorry. My brother is too drunk, so I'll give you precious The door of the store is damaged, and I will pay you compensation when I check out later."

The innkeeper looked at Abel's strong muscles, and his expression suddenly became complicated. But no more shouting.

When Abel thinks he can finally get clean and go back to sleep for a while.

Austinger ran from the room to him and shouted, "Captain Abel, Gilbert..."

Abel sighed silently in his heart: Forget about this one.

"He's home," said Abel, waving his hand.

"What?" Austin said incredulously: "Why do you all know, but I..."

"Our destination is different from his, of course we have to separate here." Abel said: "It is estimated that his family is eager to tell him to go back. So he left early in the morning."

"So that's how it is..." Austinger lost his energy.

He originally wanted to take Gilbert to the teleportation formation, but when he woke up this morning, Gilbert was nowhere to be seen.

Abel looked at Austinger's darkened expression and couldn't help comforting: "Go back and sleep for a while, cheer up, we are going to start our mission today."

"Yes," Austiner replied.

Abel patted him on the shoulder and went back to his room, looking at DeWitt and Claremont~IndoMTL.com~ who fell asleep again, sighed, and lay on the bed to rest.

Austinger went back to his room and, as Abel said, lay on his bed.

The fellow soldiers who had been quarreled before, saw the expression on his face, and the words of accountability were stuck in their throats, and they didn't plan to speak.

"Woo, woo..." After a while, Austiner wrapped himself in the quilt and let out a whimper.

The expressions of the others turned sad. They looked at each other and got out of bed. Bringing his own clothes, he gently closed the door and backed out.

After everyone washes up, it's breakfast time.

After hearing what Abel said about what happened this morning, DeWitt turned his attention to Austinger's table, but he didn't find Austinger's figure. It was already clear in my mind.

Worrying about Austinger's health, DeWitt picked up a breakfast and walked to the guest room on the second floor.

"Guest, food and beverages cannot be brought into the guest room." A waiter stopped DeWitt and said.

"Sorry, one of my comrades isn't feeling well, I'll go see him." DeWitt explained to the waiter with a smile.

The waiter nodded hesitantly, then let go.

"Thank you," DeWitt said.

Knocking on the door of Austinger's room, DeWitt whispered, "Austinger, are you there?"

"Yes." Austinger's voice came from inside.

"May I come in?" DeWitt asked politely again.

"...Yes," Austiner hesitated for a moment before replying.

DeWitt walked in with a plate in hand, saw Austinger with red eyes, and passed the food in his hand. He said warmly, "Let's have something to eat first."
