Lord of the Oasis Chapter 839:

Chapter 835: First physical examination

"Then do you know how to treat this worm?" Kant asked.

"I don't know." The undead shook his head and said, "I asked Pique to show me the 'Yin Chi' bug before, and he threatened me for a while. He said he was going to take his life into it or something. I didn't see it anyway."

Abel gave Bandak a worried look and asked the undead, "Listen to you, Pique seems to be familiar with you?"

"It's alright." After the undead curled his lips, he replied: "That kid has good qualifications. When he first came to this town, his second uncle asked me to take him a little more. As a result, he has grown rapidly. There is less contact with me."

"What does it mean to rise to the top?" Kant asked suspiciously.

Undead Guardian glanced around, leaned over and whispered to the three of them: "The relationship between Pique and the law enforcement officer of the town's inspection station is not easy."

Abel looked a little surprised after hearing the words of the undead. Can't help shouting: "Supervision?"

"Be quiet." The undead quickly stopped his doubts and continued: "Although I don't know how Pique got on the line with the people at the inspection station, I heard that the person in the station is not low. It's not for us to know which adult it is."

"How did you know this news?" Kant asked, frowning.

Although he has not seen Pique before, from the undead's story: he can be appreciated by the King of Medicine at a young age, and as an outsider, he can quickly find a backer to shelter him in this small town. This animal trainer named Pique should not do such a stupid thing as voluntarily leaking information.

"Listen to the rumors from the homeless people who entered the monitoring station." The undead responded with great seriousness: "Those people are all desperadoes, and it shouldn't be possible to frame others. Listen to them, every time they hide Ke was taken into prison, and before he could sit for a cigarette, someone respectfully invited him out."

"This" Kant read in confusion. I still don't want to believe the truth in the mouth of the dead.

At this time, an elf dressed in a doctor's uniform walked up to them and greeted them, "Are you guys here for the first time to see a doctor?"

"Yes, yes." Abel was stunned, then nodded quickly.

"Come in with me," said the elf, beckoning to them.

"Okay." Bandak glanced hesitantly at the long line in front of them, and asked curiously, "Who are these people in front of us?"

"They are all patients who have been here before, and this time they are here for re-examination." The elf introduced casually, "Our hospital's rule is that patients who come to the museum for the first time need to undergo a full-body examination. Check. That one is more troublesome, it is better to start preparing earlier."

"I see, thank you." Bandak nodded.

After entering the medical hall, Abel looked at the elves coming and going between the consulting room and the pharmacy, his face showing shock: the interior space is much wider than expected. The completeness of the hospital's facilities is also far beyond everyone's expectations.

The elf who led the way turned around and looked at the three and asked, "May I ask who is seeing the doctor?"

"I." Bandak responded, stepping forward and raising his hand.

"Then please continue walking with me." The elf assistant ordered: "The other two please wait in the hall for a while."

"Okay. Excuse me." Kant nodded slightly and responded politely.

Before leaving, Bandak conveyed a look to the other two, signaling that they were at ease.

Abel and Kant gave him a cheering gesture.

After watching Bandak leave, Abel and Kant found an empty seat in the lounge to sit down. Waiting quietly for the end of Bandak's medical examination.

"Actually, this is the first time I've heard of such a thing as a medical examination." Abel took the initiative to say, "When we were recruited into the army, there would be older officers to examine our physique. It's just that he just used a spell: a halo that quickly swept over our heads."

"The ability to use spells makes medical examinations much more convenient." Kant commented: "Calradia will set up military inspections, and national health inspections will be arranged once a year."

"The physique of the human race can be said to be very fragile." Abel said: "The medical examination here is also carried out by magic. After all, these doctors are all from the elves."

"Perhaps, but it should take longer." Kant thought for a while and said, "Is there a familiar face to you in this hospital?"

Abel straightened his back when he heard the words, turned his head and looked around. In the end, he shook his head and said, "No, what I feel is that the breath of every elves here is very unfamiliar."

"Maybe you can ask about the history of this hospital." Kant suggested with a smile.

"Okay, but I'll wait until after Bandak's visit is over." Abel nodded, "I can only hold this thing on my mind now."

Kant nodded lightly, but said nothing.

The two spent about two hours in the lounge, and unknowingly it was time for lunch. From time to time, an elves pushed the dining cart past the two of them.

Abel twisted his neck, stood up and looked out the window. It was noon now, and the sun was shining brightly above the blue sky.

"I thought we could catch up earlier. It turns out that a medical examination really takes so long." Abel shook his head and said.

"Bendak!" At this time, Kant glanced at Bandak wearing the patient's costume, and immediately raised his hand to greet him.

Abel even went up to meet him directly. After seeing the pinhole on Bandak's arm, he asked worriedly, "How is the medical examination? Is your body not affected?"

"It's fine," Bandak said, shaking his head. Walk slowly to Kant's side and walk down.

Kant looked at it carefully for a while and said, "Have you received the test results?"

"No, the results of the test will be handed over to the doctor directly, and the doctor will hand it over to me when I see the doctor." Bandak looked stunned, and after a while, he replied.

"What's the matter with you?" Abel asked with concern, raising his hand and shaking it in front of Bandak.

"When I checked just now, I saw that my blood was green," Bandak said with a puzzled face.

"Green?" Abel and Kant were shocked.

"I can't say that exactly," Bandak replied, scratching his head and frowning. "It's just that I noticed that the blood drawn from my body was a strange color. It looked like green."

"Did the elf who examined you say anything?" Abel demanded.

Chapter 836: Advice given by the doctor

"No." Bandak sighed and replied, "But when I see the doctor, he should explain it to me."

The three were silent for a while, and the atmosphere became low.

A genie approached them and said to Bandak, "Mr. Bandak, you can go to the doctor."

"Okay." Bandak nodded, stood up and walked in front of the elf.

"Can we accompany him to see the doctor?" Kant asked, looking at the elf.

"Yes." The elf nodded.

Kant stood up and followed Bendak with Abel. The elf assistant led them out of the lobby on the first floor of the hospital. Came to the consultation room on the second floor.

"Where is it?" Abel asked curiously. The consultation room on the second floor is obviously much quieter than the consultation room on the first floor. There is no crowded flow of people, and each clinic occupies a very wide area: there are even plants or wild animals in front of the door of each clinic.

The elf did not answer his question immediately, but stopped in front of a clinic with a rockery Yingquan in front of the door, and said, "Mr. Bandak's condition is rather special, we can only arbitrarily He turned to the ranks of the special patients and found the corresponding doctor to see him. Please don't mind."

"Of course not." Kant nodded. In my heart, I silently appreciated the service attitude of the hospital.

"Everyone, please come in." The elf assistant bowed and asked, "The doctor will arrive later."

"Is the doctor here yet?" Abel asked suspiciously.

"Well, because the super doctor usually travels abroad. Only when they encounter special cases will they come back." When the elf assistant said the word "special", his eyes stayed on Bandak. for a few seconds.

"Alright then, thank you for your hard work." Bandak responded with a slight bend.

The elf assistant turned and went downstairs after she had put them in the door.

Abel walked at the end of the queue, pressing the door of the clinic against the wall. Kant and Bandak had already found a bench in the room to sit down.

Seeing a small garden planted in the corner, revitalized. "It's so different from what I imagined," Abel said in surprise.

"Perhaps this is the request of the super doctor for the environment of the consulting room." Kant didn't pay much attention to the other decorations in the room. commented casually.

"Since the doctor is still out and about, how did he know about my condition?" Bandak asked suspiciously.

"Maybe it's some special contact method." Abel tilted his head and thought for a while, then said: "I've seen some Taoist priests in the East before, and they seem to be 'thousands of miles' or something. Speaking of which, the dragons we have seen before are also familiar with this ability."

"That's it," Bandak said silently.

Kant glanced at Abel and said, "It seems that the elves on this island are not only out of touch with their culture, but also in their physique. Maybe you can learn a trick like this from them. No matter what, there is no need to bother the old elf king to go to Calradia's city gate in person."

"This" Abel said hesitantly, but before he could finish speaking - the approach of a powerful aura made Abel's heart beat involuntarily.

"Who?" Abel turned his head stiffly and looked towards the door.

Saw a spirited old man in a hospital uniform walking in from the porch with his legs and feet gusty.

This elf appears to be nearly a hundred years old, a round older than the old elf king. His skin is close to the silvery white of jewelry, and his face is full of wrinkles, but the sharpness in his pupils is like holding a precise scalpel, as if to analyze a person from the inside out.

In contrast to Kant's regal air, the physician's temperament is calm and cautious.

"Hello, doctor. I'm a patient, Bandak." Bandak took the initiative to step forward and stretched out his hand.

"Well." The Elf Doctor introduced himself: "My name is Brandon. Who are these two?"

"It's my friend." Bandak struggled for a while, not knowing how to introduce Kant and Abel's identities. He hesitated.

"Okay." Brandon glanced up at Kant and Abel. He nodded slightly and said, "Because there's not much time, let's get to the point quickly."

"Yes." Bandak sat upright in the patient seat and nodded in response.

"I've seen the results of your medical examination." Brandon pulled out a page of manuscript and said while taking notes: "I think you may also know how your current physical condition was made. But this It's your personal business, and that's not the subject of our discussion."

"Hmm." Bandak took the inspection report that Brandon handed over and looked at it carefully.

However, he did not understand the data reports on the report. Looking confused.

"You now have a very poisonous worm in your body, and the facilities and reserves of the medical center on the island alone cannot treat you." Dr. Brandon explained: "There are several types of worms. Corresponding plans for you to consider: 1. Go home and wait for the end of the day or find a time to commit suicide. Now it will be about two months before the eggs will completely swallow you. Man, let him give you the antidote. This is the plan I personally recommend the most. Third, exchange blood with one-half hope."

"What is an exchange blood?" Bandak's face was nearly pale after hearing the first two options. When the doctor said the word 'exchange blood', his eyes lit up and he asked.

The doctor took a deep breath and said, "It is to purify your blood through magic. This kind of magic can cure any disease. I need to apply for a doctor with more seniority to come and help, and you have to pay accordingly. Expensive. And in the course of this treatment, patients will experience extreme pain, and some people will die directly during the execution of the spell. We will not make any compensation for this situation."

"What is the chance of success?" Abel asked in a deep voice, "How many percent can it be?"

"Fifty percent." Brandon said blankly.

"What will happen to me if I fail?" Bandak lowered his eyes and said.

"It will be devoured by mana and die violently." Brandon was silent for a while, then replied: "You can discuss first, and then make a decision. The operation cost requires one hundred gold coins. I hope you can do it with your energy. ."

"Okay, we got it." Kant nodded.

"Thank you, Dr. Brandon." Bandak stood up and said, "We'll think about it."

Chapter 837: The lord who started action

"I've been staying in the town for the last few days. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me at any time." Brandon slowed down and said, "Actually, enjoy the last paragraph before losing consciousness. There's nothing wrong with time. With one hundred gold coins, you can live any life you want."

"Yeah." Bandak nodded silently.

The three said goodbye and left the hospital. On the way back to the hotel, no one took the initiative to say anything.

It wasn't until Bandak walked straight to his bedroom after entering the guest room that Kant gave Abel a wink and motioned him to follow.

"Bandak, what are you doing in the bedroom?" Abel asked softly, pushing open the lightly closed door.

After seeing Bandak pull a knife blade out of the suitcase, Abel ran in in shock and grabbed Bandak's right hand, which was clutching the dagger: Now Bandak is unarmed , In terms of strength, it is no match for Abel, who is a double-cultivator of magic and martial arts.

"What are you going to do?" Abel demanded loudly.

This movement attracted Kant, who was sitting idle in the main hall. When the deadlocked back of the two came into view, a trace of disappointment flashed in Kant's eyes. In his mind: Bandak is not a short-sighted person. The current move is beyond expectations.

"I'm sorry." For a long time, Bandak threw the dagger in his hand on the floor, and introduced to Abel and Kant dejectedly: "I just feel that I am too decadent, and I want to use some external force to make myself fight. Get up."

"You must never hurt yourself," said Abel, staring earnestly at Bandak.

"I'm sorry," Bandak repeated.

"We will find Pike, dragons, gnomes, and goblins will all help us." Abel took a deep breath and said, "Even if this Pike flies off the island, I will take it He caught him and asked him to hand over the antidote."

"Yeah." Bandak nodded silently.

"What kind of bad idea did that doctor put forward? He wanted to let the patient fight for his life without a 100% plan." Abel said angrily: "We won't go to that hospital again in the future."

"The poison of Gu has eroded into Bandak's blood, which means we don't have much time left." Kant said lightly, "Abel, come and help me study ink, and I will write the letter tonight. Write it down and find someone to take it up the mountain."

"Yes." Abel responded immediately. Before leaving the room, he picked up the dagger on the floor and brought it to the main hall.

Kant went to his room and pulled out paper and pen and ink. brought to the living room.

Abel takes the candlesticks to the tea table to light when writing letters.

"Abel, go with me to meet the owner of this inn." Kant instructed Abel who was beside him after putting the two letters in his arms.

"Is it really okay to leave Bandak alone in this room?" Abel asked hesitantly.

"If he really wants to do something stupid, we can't stop him." Kant's expression didn't change, and he responded calmly.

Although his tone sounded calm, Abel, who had been by Kant's side for a while, could sense the anger in Kant's chest. He could only timidly follow Kant's footsteps and walked out of the guest room.

Bendak, who had been staying in his bedroom, slowly got up and walked to the living room after hearing the sound of the door closing at the entrance. Sitting down at the tea table, seeing the still burning candlestick and the unfolded rice paper, Bandak sighed softly.

"What should I do"

"Dude, have you seen your boss?" Abel asked a freshman as he walked to the counter.

"The boss is out. What's the matter with the two adults?" the waiter asked with his head lowered.

"We have two letters here that need to be expedited up the mountain." Kant explained, "See if you can help us find someone who can run errands and help us take the letters to the dwarf country. We'll take care of all the expenses. "

"Sir, are you looking for a dwarf craftsman from the dwarf country?" the waiter asked.

"Yes." Abel affirmed: "But the two letters need to be sent to different places. The other address is the main city of the goblin country."

"I don't know the situation of the Goblin Country very well." The tall waiter scratched his head and said, "However, the patriarch of the Dwarf Country seems to be coming to this town tomorrow. What do you two adults have? If something happens, you can make an appointment with the supervision station on your behalf, and tell it in person when the time comes.”

"It turns out to be like this." Kant was slightly surprised by the news that the dwarfs had come down the mountain: "Is the dwarf patriarch you were talking about the old patriarch?"

"It should be." The waiter thought for a while, then nodded and said, "You can leave the appointment to the staff in the store, but the two guests have to arrive on time when the time comes."

"Okay, thank you." Abel replied, "Then this letter"

"As for the letter, you need to ask the manager of the hotel." The waiter said embarrassedly: "After all, I don't know much about the rules and procedures of the teleportation array."

"Okay, then please let us know when the store manager returns." Kant nodded and said, "Let's discuss with him again."

"I'm sorry," the waiter said apologetically, bending over.

"It's okay."

After Kant and Abel explained everything, they turned and went upstairs.

"Don't gnomes like socializing very much? Why would they suddenly come to town for a rally. It's so strange," Abel whispered.

"It is estimated that it has been investigated before, and some eyebrows have been found. I want to go down the mountain to discuss countermeasures with the homeless people of other races." Kant analyzed: "When we meet tomorrow, maybe we will know."

"Hope this situation can be delayed a little longer, or we'll have to be forcibly drawn into this storm," Abel prayed softly.

"Let's go with the flow." Kant said: "After all, we can't penetrate the trend of the situation."

Back in the guest room, Abel heard the sound of running water from the bathroom, and his nerves immediately tense. Before he had time to take off his shoes, he rushed to the door of the bathroom and shouted inside, "Bandak! Can you hear me?"

"I heard. I'm taking a shower," Bandak responded.

Abel breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It looks like I'll have to keep an eye on you for a while like this."

"Why do you think he's looking for a shortcoming in the bathroom?" Kant had already sat down safely at the tea table, and now asked curiously.

"I don't know either." Facing Kant's doubts, Abel was speechless for a long time. In the end, he could only shake his head and replied: "Maybe I didn't eat lunch, I was a little starving."

Chapter 838: Dinner prepared by Volt

After Kant heard Abel's answer, he glanced at him helplessly and said, "If you have something to complain about in your heart, you can say it directly, you don't have to."

"No, no." Abel panicked that he had said something wrong, and hurriedly denied: "I didn't mean that."

"Hehe." Kant laughed softly and said, "I'm just joking. After Bandak comes out of the bathroom, let's start ordering."

"Okay." After accidentally discovering Kant's bad taste, Abel had no choice but to surrender.

When the sound of water in the bathroom stopped, Abel felt himself walking out of the guest room and called a waiter.

"What's the matter, two adults?" The waiter who was summoned and hurried upstairs asked respectfully.

"We want to order a few dinners, can you bring the menu, please?" Abel asked politely.

"Of course." The waiter nodded, and after saluting slightly, he turned around and went back downstairs.

Abel stood by the door and waited silently, noticing Bendak coming out of the bathroom, and greeting him, "Bendak, are you hungry? We'll be ordering soon. "

"Dinner?" Bandak raised his eyebrows, took a seat at the tea table, and asked Abel.

"Of course, you don't look at what time it is." Abel said, "Speaking of which, we haven't stopped much to rest today."

"That's good too," Bandak said with a smile. "You can have more at dinner."

Kant heard that Bandak's tone had improved slightly, and he was no longer as depressed as before, so he felt relieved.

"Why did the waiter go for so long?" Just when Abel became impatient, the waiter who had been there before climbed the stairs on the second floor and walked towards the door of the guest room. But there was nothing in the hand.

"What about the menu, please?" Abel asked suspiciously.

"I'm sorry, a few guests." The waiter glanced up at the room and found that the two people sitting inside were also paying attention to the movement here, and then explained: "The owner of our store hopes to invite I went to the restaurant downstairs to dine together, and I was specially sent to deliver the letter.”

"The owner of the hotel" Abel thought for a while, then agreed: "Well, please go and tell the shopkeeper: we will be there later."

"Yes," the waiter replied, bending over.

After watching the waiter go down the stairs, Abel closed the door and said to the other two: "The owner of the hotel has invited us to dinner."

"That's not bad, just in time to ask him to help deliver the letter in person." Kant nodded and said, "Everyone, pack up your clothes and prepare to go to the banquet."

Bandak glanced at the bathrobe on his body, then walked swiftly to his bedroom and changed into the casual clothes he usually wears when going out.

By the time he came out of the room, Abel and Kant were already standing at the entrance, waiting.

"Let's go," Kant said.

The three walked slowly to the restaurant on the first floor: Now that they have missed their meal time, there are no other diners in the restaurant except the hotel owner who has been waiting.

When Bandak walked into the dining table, he looked at the dishes that filled the table, and said with a grin, "This dinner is too rich."

"Your Majesty Kant, Commander Bandak, General Abel. First meeting, please take care of me." The boss smiled genially and stepped forward to greet him.

Kant, who was standing at the forefront, held the other party's outstretched hand and responded with a smile: "First meeting. What's your name?"

"I'm just the shopkeeper of a small hotel. The three of you can call me by my real name." The hotel owner said modestly: "My name is Volt."

"Hello, Mr. Volt." Kant said, "Thank you for your care these days."

"It's okay, it's okay. Please sit down, everyone." Volt let go of his hand and greeted the three.

"There shouldn't be enough space on this table." Abel said in surprise as he watched another queue of waiters with plates pouring out of the restaurant.

"They should have prepared desserts that don't take up space on the table," Volt explained with a smile.

"So it is," Abel replied embarrassedly.

On weekdays, Abel's staple food is vegetables, fruits, etc., and has naturally ignored the existence of desserts.

"Since the dishes are ready, let's start your meal." Volt waved his hand and asked the waiter who served the dishes to step down. He said to the three people at the dinner table: "If there is anything, you have to eat enough to have the strength to talk about it."

"Thank you Mr. Volt." Abel nodded slightly.

After the four toasted their pre-dinner drinks, they began to focus on the food on the table.

Bandak usually eats a lot on weekdays, but at this time, he has a big appetite and chops up large pieces of meat.

The three of them had been running around for a busy day, their hearts and minds were haggard, and the rare meal time seemed relaxed and casual. Although there was only the sound of knives and forks colliding with dishes, the atmosphere was not embarrassing.

The innkeeper glanced at the three people who were eating, and then drank happily.

"Mr. Volt, since there is something important to discuss, it is better for us to use tea instead of wine." Kant saw Volt drinking cup after cup of cows, he quickly stopped this trend, and offered tea to persuade him.

"Yes, yes." Volt waved his hand embarrassedly and poured out the wine in the glass. After refilling the tea, he replied to Kant: "I lost my way just now. Thank you His Majesty Kant for reminding me."

"You don't need to worry about such trivial matters." Kant said with a slight smile: "Just drinking on an empty stomach does hurt the body"

"You're right," Volt said with a grin. Then he picked up a brand new knife and fork and began to eat.

After drinking and eating enough, Volt took the initiative to make up for the mistake just now and said, "I heard that Your Highness wants to find someone to send you a letter?"

"Yes." Kant put down the teacup and responded: "Because of a little urgent, I need to contact friends in the goblin country for help. That's why I want to try it out and see if I can ask the boss to find a reliable person to run this place for you. One trip."

"Of course there are candidates." Volt nodded and said: "It's just that the road to the Goblin Country is not so easy to walk. Your Majesty, your friends in the Goblin Country, have you left anything? A token? One that can be shown by the messenger to the officers and soldiers guarding the city."

Kant and Abel looked at each other and recalled in their minds: "We don't carry the kind of thing you mentioned. I guess we can't give it to you."

"In this case" the owner of the inn is: It is not possible to enter and exit the territory on the volcano at will.

Chapter 839: Preparations before meeting

"Actually our friend is the king of the goblin country, Gilbert." Kant hesitated for a while, then asked, "In this case, can you find a way to deliver the letter to him?"

"Your Highness Gilbert?" The innkeeper's eyes lit up and he said incredulously: "So you are friends of Your Highness Gilbert?"

"Is it a friend?" Abel said helplessly: "Boss, have you thought of a new way?"

"If it's a letter to His Royal Highness Gilbert, of course we have a way to deliver it." Volt said easily: "Just find a familiar politician and friend and bring the letter to the palace. "

"That's great." Bandak gratefully said, "Thank you Mr. Volt."

"I should be the one to thank you all, my lords, for bowing down to my shop," Volt said humbly.

"We came to this small island alone, with no support. We can only rely on the help of others to make the task at hand go smoothly. We will naturally be grateful to everyone who helps us. ' Kant responded.

"You are all big-minded people. What you are doing now will definitely be successful." Volt stood up and toasted.

Kant and others also stood up one after another, drank tea instead of wine.

The dinner party was dispersed, and the three returned to the room. After watching them go up the stairs, Volt turned around and went back to his room to rest.

"I didn't expect Gilbert to become so famous in the town." Abel said with emotion: "When I met him on the side of the road, I didn't expect the current situation at all." /

"The boss is also kind-hearted. Since we stayed here, he has always responded to our requests." Bandak drank a little wine during the banquet, and now his consciousness has become confused. Inarticulate.

"Gilbert is the emperor who was launched by the side that won the civil war, and his status is naturally much higher than that of the lord who naturally inherited the throne in the past." Kant said: "In addition, the supervision of the town is now carried out by the goblin country. , many businesses in the town have to rely on the power of the goblin country."

"Yes." Abel nodded and said, "Perhaps this is also the reason why this rotation system is implemented."

Kant smelled the alcohol on Bandak's body, and immediately stepped forward to help him and said, "I haven't seen you drink a lot, why are you drunk so quickly?"

"My body is no longer mine." Bandak said to Kant with a smile on his cheeks with a drunken blush.

Abel also came over and helped Bendak. Said: "The physical qualities that belong to Bandak are really fading. I should have noticed it when I was in the carriage before."

Recall that when Bandak joined them in Goblin Country, his body had begun to appear abnormal.

"It's alright, this will all be over soon." Kant softly comforted the drunken Bandak as if he was helping a young child.

Bandak's frowning brows gradually unfolded, and he fell asleep in a relaxed manner.

"Fortunately, the smell of alcohol on his body is not too heavy, otherwise we would have to take care of him to take a bath." Abel placed Bandak on the bed and turned around and said to Kant.

"Let's go out quickly. Bandak has been tired for a day today, let him have a good rest." Kant greeted.

Abel goes to the corner and extinguishes the candlestick. Then lightly followed Kant out of Bandak's bedroom.

While closing the door, Abel suddenly remembered something and exclaimed in a low voice, "Damn, we forgot to tell Bandak about the meeting with the gnomes tomorrow."

Kant was taken aback by him. After listening to the complete sentence, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It doesn't matter, it's enough for the two of us to go tomorrow."

"Good." Abel nodded.

"It's getting late, I'll go back to my room to sleep first." Kant instructed: "You also rest early."

As he spoke, he walked into his bedroom and closed the door softly.

Abel shrugged helplessly, walked to the main hall and extinguished the candlestick, then began to organize his clothes and prepare to take a bath in the bathroom.

As he walks out of the bathroom, he glances at Kant's room, where the candlelight shines through the crack of the door, making it particularly conspicuous in the darkness.

"Every time," Abel said, shaking his head.

On the days of sleeping with Kant and Bandak, Abel accidentally discovered that Kant would work on copywriting every night until three or four in the morning. Every time he couldn't sleep at night, Abel would go to the main hall to pour himself a glass of water, and every time Abel could run into Kant who was working.

Are all humans like this? Abel, who was lying in bed, thought silently in his heart.

The next morning.

Bandak is still asleep, while Kant and Abel have been sitting at the dining table and eating breakfast quietly.

What woke them up was the knock on the door of the waiter who had come to announce the news.

The sleepy-eyed Abel opened the door of the guest room and said to the waiter outside the door, "We would be happier if you could adjust the time of the notification."

"I'm sorry, Lord Abel." The waiter blushed apologetically. "We have contacted the gnome craftsmen for you. They hope to meet you at 8:30 this morning."

"So early?" Abel asked unexpectedly.

"This is the time I have taken while adjusting the itinerary. So" the waiter explained helplessly.

"It's fine, I'll just say it casually." Bandak smiled and said, "You can ignore it."

"Huh?" The waiter was stunned and said, "Since the news has been delivered, I won't disturb your rest."

"You should talk less when you're not awake." Kant commented after listening to Abel finish the whole experience ~IndoMTL.com~ while eating.

"Me too," Abel reflected.

Breakfast time for the two ended in small talk. Kant greeted Abel after wiping the cream from the corner of his mouth with a napkin: "Let's go."

"Okay," Abel agreed.

Able went to his room and took out some coins. When passing Bundak's bedroom, he crept in to check on Bundak's condition. After finding that the other party was still sound asleep, he walked out of the door with confidence.

"Is Bandak still asleep?" Kant asked softly.

"Hmm." Abel nodded.

"Alright, let him rest for a while." Kant walked to the entrance, put on his boots, and said.

As the two walked downstairs, they happened to meet the waiter who came to greet them.

"My lords, the carriage is ready," said the waiter.
