Daily Life at Hogwarts Chapter 22: House of Demand
When Albert woke up, it was pitch black in the dormitory, and there was a faint sound of rain outside the window. The rain from last night had not stopped until now.
Albert sat up from the bed and stretched out his hand to cover a yawn. It was all to blame for the strange dream last night. When he woke up, he felt very tired.
Moreover, he woke up too early, and the three people in the dormitory were still sleeping.
Albert reached out and touched the head of the bed, picked up the wand placed in the corner, and chanted softly: "Fluorescent flashes."
The tip of the wand glowed pale, and he put the glowing wand against the mechanical pocket watch and glanced at the time: 5:40.
Sure enough, it was still too early to wake up.
Albert extinguished the light on his wand and lay back on the bed, the mechanical pocket watch slipping from his hand onto the sheet.
This is a gift Luke bought himself to celebrate his invitation to Hogwarts.
Now that he was awake, Albert didn't plan to go back to sleep. He leaned up and sat on the bed again, stretched his waist, pushed back the sheets, got out of bed and walked to the window. He opened the pegs and opened the wooden window to look out of the tower.
A gust of cold wind blew head-on, and Albert couldn't help but shivered, and his head suddenly came to his senses.
The rain was not heavy, it was still dark outside, and the entire castle was shrouded in a hazy rain curtain.
"A great adventure." Albert patted his cheek and muttered softly.
After closing the window, Albert returned to the bed, took out the robe from the suitcase and put it on. He picked up the pocket watch and wand by the bed and put it in his pocket. Before he walked out of the dormitory, he stopped again and put the robe he just changed into. He threw his clothes into the bathroom basket, and the house-elf would use magic to wash the clothes and put them back on his bed.
Having said that, the students at Hogwarts are actually doing well, and many things don't require students to worry about it, they just need to learn magic at ease.
The common room was very quiet. There was only a female ghost sitting on the sofa reading a book. She heard footsteps, raised her head and glanced at Albert, and continued to look down at her books.
Albert didn't bother Ms. Ghost. Although he wanted to chat with her, he finally gave up. He hated being interrupted when he was reading.
Albert didn't stay in the lounge, and was going to wander around the castle before everyone got up, and stopped by to find the legendary Room of Requirement.
Pushing open the door of the lounge, Albert bent over and stepped out of the circular hole. The fat lady was still wearing a nightgown and stared sleepily at the departing students.
She asked, "Where are you going?"
"For a walk." Albert looked into the dimly lit hallway, raised his wand and continued forward. This time, he didn't plan to go the same way he came last night, but to go somewhere else.
Perhaps, because of the rain outside, the corridor is cold and damp, much like a ghostly castle in a ghost movie. At any time, a ghost may burrow out of the wall and frighten people to death.
In fact, there are ghosts in Hogwarts Castle, and there are quite a few, and it is not surprising that there is a ghost coming out of the walls now.
As soon as he turned the corner, Albert saw the stone steps that he had come up to last night. This time, instead of going down, he continued to move forward.
Turning down another corridor, Albert found a large vase in front of him, turned his head to look left and right, and actually led him to find the tapestry of the troll wearing a tutu.
"Looks like I'm lucky."
Albert quickened his pace, walked to the tapestry, raised his wand, and used the light above to look at the wonderful tapestry in front of him, which can only be described as unbearable to look directly.
A group of trolls dressed in ballet groups on the tapestry, holding wooden or bone sticks, are posing in various enchanting poses. A ballet teacher tried to teach a troll to dance, but was beaten with a bone stick by a troll.
While Albert was observing the tapestry, the troll also stopped beating up the ballet teacher and turned to stare at him, as if asking, "What are you looking at?"
If he had brought a camera, Albert would have captured this hilarious scene.
The main thing now, though, is the Room of Requirement, which is in the white wall opposite this tapestry.
Albert stepped aside, turned to look at the white wall, then turned his head again, looked at the tapestry, raised his right hand, and made a knocking motion towards the troll.
The tooth decayed troll is really imitating him to lift the bone stick and knock it on the poor ballet teacher.
This scene is simply sad and tearful.
Albert laughed happily, walked towards the white wall, and reached out to touch the wall.
The requirement to enter the Room of Requirement is to walk through the wall three times and concentrate on what you need.
"Through?" Albert raised his wand, a pale light illuminated one end of the white wall, where there was a window, he turned and saw a man-tall vase.
So, it's actually three times?
"A place to practice magic, a place to practice magic..." Albert concentrates ~IndoMTL.com~ walks to the window at one end of the white wall, turns back, and turns back at the vase at the other end .
He muttered something in a low voice, and when he turned a third time, there was a change in the wall.
Countless patterns emerge from the white wall, and a smooth door gradually emerges.
Albert is in a good mood because he knows he has succeeded. Holding the copper handle, he opened the door and walked in. Inside was a spacious room with torches lit around the walls, a bit like a classroom.
There are many wooden bookshelves by the wall, with hundreds of books on them, which Albert suspects are moved from the library. On the other side, there are some dolls used to practice magic.
"Fantastic." Albert said softly. With these books, he doesn't need to go to the library to find books.
However, when using this place, you still need to be careful not to be discovered. After all, a door suddenly appears on the wall, it is still easy to attract the attention of others.
Albert didn't stay, turned and left the Room of Requirement, he was going to think about how to use this place covertly.
If he doesn't want people to know, he needs to make sure that he didn't meet anyone when he came in, and he didn't meet anyone else when he went out, so that he could keep the secret here.
He needs the Disillusionment Charm and the Marauder's Map.
The Disillusionment Charm should be found in the pile of books just now, but the Marauder's Map, at Filch's, is not easy to get.
Make one yourself?
He doesn't have this ability now.
Forget it, take your time! Anyway, I have to stay here for seven years.
After Albert turned to leave, the door to the Room of Requirement slowly disappeared again, turning into an ordinary white wall again. Few in the school knew that there was a magical room here.
