Daily Life at Hogwarts Chapter 24: Enthusiastic house elf
Near the foyer on the first floor of the castle, there is a door leading to the Hufflepuff common room and kitchen.
Albert took some time to wander around the foyer and found two doors and Filch's office by the marble staircase. Filch's cat was staring at him.
"What's it called?" Albert asked.
Filch didn't answer, picked up his cat and went into the office.
"It must be jealousy!" Albert murmured, if he remembered correctly, Filch was a Squib. He thinks that since the other party is a Squib, he should abandon the magic world and obediently integrate into the Muggle world, why stay behind to seek trouble and unhappiness.
Okay, the annoying guy is gone, which door should I choose?
"Where will the kitchen be?" Albert took a coin from his pocket and tossed it on the ground. It was heads, so he chose to walk to the left of the stairs.
Behind the door is the next stone staircase, which is a wide stone corridor. When Albert walked by, the torches on the walls lit automatically, illuminating the surrounding environment. Albert found that the surrounding walls were decorated with various Drawing of food.
"Good luck." Albert found a large portrait of a huge silver bowl full of fruit, behind which the kitchen is said to be hidden.
The secret to entering the kitchen, on the pear.
Albert touched the big green pear lightly, and the pear actually wriggled, giggling, and suddenly turned into a big green doorknob.
"Sure enough, I'm here, it seems that my luck is not bad." Albert was in a very happy mood. After finding the room of responsiveness, he successfully found the kitchen.
Reach out and grab the door and pull it. The kitchen area is the same size as the auditorium above. There are many tableware on the surrounding cabinets. There are also four long wooden tables in the auditorium. These tables are placed in the same position as the four in the auditorium above. The desks of the colleges are the same.
Some food has been placed on the table. It should be the students' breakfast. When the meal is over, the house elves will use magic to transfer the food to the opposite table above.
"Sir, is something wrong?" An elf spotted Albert and trotted towards him.
"The restaurant hasn't opened yet, so I'll come to the kitchen to take a look." Albert smiled politely at them.
"Come with me, sir." The house-elf grabbed Albert's hand and pulled him to sit at the table. Six house-elves hurried up, carrying a large Silver tray with a jug of milk, ham, fried eggs, toast and salad, and pumpkin porridge.
"Thank you, little guy." Albert poured himself half a glass of milk. Although he didn't have the habit of drinking milk in his previous life, he has developed this habit over the years. Thanks to this, he has become much stronger than in his previous life. .
"It's our honor, Mr." Somebody said thank you to himself, and the house-elves smiled and bowed to him.
Albert ate a portion of ham, fried eggs, and two slices of toast, and drank a small bowl of pumpkin porridge, filling his stomach with food all at once.
As he slaughtered the last morsel of fruit salad, he looked at the house-elves, all dressed, should not say, wrapped in a tea towel with the Hogwarts crest.
"I think I should go, thank you for your breakfast." Albert noticed that the exploration progress had reached 7.3%.
"That's what we should do, sir," said the house-elf in a shrill voice. Before Albert left, many elves next to him gathered around and handed him a lot of snacks for Albert to take back to eat.
"Enough is enough, goodbye little guys." Albert put four pies in a kraft paper bag and stuffed it into the robe, which was for the three of George.
The house-elves crowded to the door and watched Albert leave. They liked the thank you, which made the house-elves feel Albert's respect and affirmation for them.
Following the path he walked yesterday, it took Albert a few minutes to return to the lounge.
However, there was still no one inside, and the ghost lady had already left.
When Albert returned to the room, the twins were still sleeping, and Li Jordan had already woken up. He looked at Albert who appeared outside the door with a surprised expression, and couldn't help asking, "Where are you going?
"Walk for a walk and have breakfast by the way!" Albert grinned, "Have I brought you gifts?"
"What gift?" Weasley on the right got up from the bed and scratched his head with his right hand, as if he hadn't woken up yet.
"I thought you were sleeping." Li Jordan got off the bed, stretched lazily and asked, "What gift."
"Pie." Albert took out the kraft paper bag from his pocket, took out a pie, took a bite, and handed the paper bag to Lee Jordan: "One person per person."
"Where did you do it?" Fred asked curiously.
"Kitchen."
"Wow, you found the kitchen."
"By the way, you sneaked out on your own, and you didn't even ask us to come together." Fred also woke up. If it weren't for the bed, Albert wouldn't be able to tell who the twins were.
"Don't brush your teeth first."
"Oh, I almost forgot about this." George put down the pie in his hand and asked curiously, "How did you find the kitchen?"
"Wandering around~IndoMTL.com~ just happened to find out." Albert said again about his encounter with Filch, "His cat is very smart and will notify his owner, but, I think Filch might have come to trouble me."
"I dare say, he must be very aggrieved!" Fred also couldn't help laughing, and got up to go out for a walk. Hogwarts Castle is really interesting.
The three of them got dressed, washed and came to the Gryffindor lounge. There was no one here. Albert lit the fire and sat on the sofa next to him. The rain had stopped outside.
"Bill and Charlie said there were a lot of secret passages in the castle," Fred said to the others, eating his pie.
"But they don't tell us where the secret passage is." George complained a little bit about his brothers.
"Maybe, they want you to explore the secrets of the castle yourself, that's interesting." Albert remembered Nick's words and comforted the two casually.
"I think so too," Lee Jordan echoed.
"By the way, I almost forgot about it." Albert walked to the entrance, took advantage of the fact that there was no one in the lounge, and took a few pictures, along with a picture of Mrs. Fat.
"Are you taking pictures again?"
"I'm going to send a letter to my family. For Muggles, everything in the wizarding world is very strange." Albert looked at the photo, and he had previously discovered that he had another photography-related skill.
"I heard from Charlie that Filch likes to make trouble with students and wants to hang up students who make mistakes and whip them with whips." George continued after eating the pie, "Felch knows a lot more. The secret passage of the school will always emerge silently."
"Most of the students who traveled at night would be caught by Filch," Fred added, "and then severely deducted and put in confinement."
