Daily Life at Hogwarts Chapter 107: Christmas

The Anderson family's original Christmas holiday skiing plan has been cancelled. Luke and Sansa will come over for Christmas. No one in the family complains about it. They are not too enthusiastic about skiing itself.

On Christmas Eve, Albert sees Herb lingering outside Nia's door, seemingly contemplating whether to put gifts on her daughter's bedside table.

"Santa is out of fashion now." Albert motioned for Herb to put the Christmas presents downstairs next to the Christmas tree.

"I told him about this long ago." Daisy in pajamas looked helplessly at the two people in the corridor, shook her head and reminded, "You also hurry up and go to bed, don't stay up late, you need to stay up in the morning. Get up and open the Christmas presents."

The next day, Albert was awakened by Nia early in the morning.

No way, Tom's cat face was leaning into his face, making Albert all drowsy all of a sudden.

"I didn't find your Christmas present." Nia asked for it.

"Here, I haven't had time to put it next to the Christmas tree." Albert reached out and pushed Tom's face away. After finishing it, he took out a neatly packaged box from the drawer and handed it to Nia.

"What about mine?" he asked. The two brothers and sisters used to give each other Christmas gifts.

"Next to the Christmas tree downstairs." Nia opened the package, picked up the badge and asked, "It's beautiful, by the way, what bird is this?"

"Phoenix, you can also call it a firebird or a phoenix. It is said that Headmaster Dumbledore kept one. However, I didn't see the phoenix." Albert took out a small dried fish from the drawer , handed it to Tom and said, "And your Christmas present."

Speaking, he tore off the wrapping paper, took out a small dried fish from the inside, and shook it in front of Tom, easily attracting its attention.

However, when Albert was about to put the dried fish in his mouth, Tom's face came close and he made a anxious meow.

"This guy is too bad, Tom, we won't play with him anymore." Nia put the badge in her pocket, reached for the cat, took the bag of dried fish and went downstairs, leaving Ai Bert was alone, holding a small dried fish.

"White Christmas!" Albert got out of bed and came to the window, reached out and opened the curtains, looking at the falling snow outside, and sighed with emotion.

As he went downstairs, Albert couldn't help but look under the Christmas tree, where there were still a bunch of small packages. Nia has already sat at the dining table to unpack her own package, so... the rest is all her own?

Albert walked under the Christmas tree and started unpacking:

A few books, a few greeting cards, and a Quidditch poster, um, from the Weasley brothers. Albert doesn't know who the guys are in this poster, but he's already planning to bring Back to school, posted in the dormitory, the poster should be the team supported by the twin brothers. A small bag of candy, Albert looked at, from Shanna, thanking him for his help at the start of school. Lee Jordan gave him a box of Bibi Duo Beans.

There is also a Metamorphosis Today magazine, but it is a previous issue. Albert looked at the sender, and it was actually sent by Professor McGonagall.

Albert was curious if Professor McGonagall would give him Christmas gifts too?

And a scarf?

"How is it?" Nia asked nervously, "I picked the color."

"It's beautiful." Albert wrapped the scarf directly around his neck, a warm, off-white kid's style, alright! He was only twelve years old, still a child, and had nothing to complain about.

The rest is either candy or books. Albert was not surprised at the receipt of books, as it has always been.

Breakfast was exceptionally rich, but the Anderson family did not eat immediately, but waited until Luke and Sansa came over. About 10:30, the family of six ate breakfast to the Christmas carol, and then lay down on the sofa when they were full. While watching a TV show, chat about light-hearted topics.

Nia originally hoped that Albert could perform magic, but Albert did not agree after considering it.

Honestly, he still doesn't know what's going on with the trace wire at the Ministry of Magic, and although he has asked other people, it is not clear to everyone what the trace wire is.

Normally, the ban on the use of magic outside of school is not received until the summer break for first grade.

Albert doesn't want to take risks, however, and it would be unwise to jump into legal loopholes without preparation.

Although they don't use magic, they can do a lot of things, play wizard chess, or have fun.

However, in wizard chess, obviously no one is Albert's opponent.

After Heb lost another game, he temporarily gave up playing wizard chess with his son.

Luckily, Daisy brought out a big bowl of freshly fried chips from the kitchen at this point, giving him a good excuse to end the game.

"Tom, don't tease Sheila, be careful of getting pecked." When Albert went to wash his hands, he took the shorthair cat away from the owl and muttered, "Did I take the wrong name? Well, it should be called Jerry's, Tom and Jerry, what a great combination."

"Sela sounds better." Nia couldn't help but reminded.

When Albert returned from washing his hands~IndoMTL.com~, he heard a scream, and Tom, who had cheap claws, was finally pecked by the owl.

Sela obviously didn't intend to let Tom go. She chased after him for a while and pecking at him. The fighting was so powerful that Tom finally had to hide under the sofa.

Everyone laughed.

Sansa brings Sheila some owl food before bending over to pick up Tom under the couch and soothe his wounded heart with dried fish.

"Tom is getting fatter and fatter." Nia took Albert's birthday present to herself and took it out for others to appreciate.

"It's good for a cat to be fat." Sansa smiled and scratched Tom's chin. "You said it was Tom."

"When will it fly." Nia raised her hand and poked the Gryphon, "And, does our world really have such a creature?"

"Yes. However, they are said to be in unknown places." Albert is putting ketchup-dipped fries in his mouth.

"The group of people in the magic world are like this, why hide like a mouse?" Daisy sat next to Herb, and the two sat next to each other.

"After all, the number of wizards is small, and most ordinary people are afraid of power beyond their perception." It was Luke who answered.

Actually, many people fear magic and envy others for possessing magic, and then, for various reasons, they regard magic people as monsters and find reasons to persecute them. Human beings are such creatures.

Tom is sprawled on the table, staring at the toy with its wings outstretched and fiddling with it with a scratcher.

"Albert, have you read the book I picked for you?" Daisy asked suddenly.

"I've read it, it's a very good book." Albert nodded, "It's a pity that what's in the book is just what's in the book."
