Harry Potter’s Book of Sin Chapter 10: Raise your hand

This herbal medicine course is one of the few courses in this school year that is taught by Hufflepuff and Gryffindor together. Although there may be changes in the next school year, it is the most suitable time for Maca to approach the Harry trio.

Speaking of Harry, the boy who survived a catastrophe, he is now struggling to fight the Flobber caterpillars on the stems and leaves! Yes, that's right, it's the kind that the weak-existent classmate Michael Kona swallowed when he was a child. They especially like lettuce, but generally they eat it as a plant.

When Ron squeezed over to ask Maca about his dealings with Snape in the Potions class, Maca was thinking about this kind of caterpillar! These guys are 10 inches long, not much shorter than Maca's wand. God knows how Michael swallowed it when he was a child!

"Is it bitten and then eaten?" Maca thought for a while, shuddering suddenly.

"...What do you want to eat after you bite it? Are you thinking about what to eat for lunch?" Ron looked at Maca suspiciously, and then said again, "Just leave the lunch business, let me talk about it. ! How did you provoke Snape? We will start his class tomorrow too. I heard from the seniors that he always favors students in his college, and I don’t know if it’s true."

Maca came back to her senses, and shook her head helplessly.

"Who told you that I provoke Professor Snape, isn't this a death." He explained the situation briefly, but Hermione couldn't help but leaned in too.

"Hey! I said, Professor Snape really said that?" Hermione was a little excited, "That's Arseny Giger's pharmacological formula, it's an authority! How could he just say that it was a mistake so casually? !"

Then, Hermione calmed down again, and then looked at Maca apologetically.

"I'm sorry, I'm not saying that there is something wrong with questioning authority, but..." She hesitated, a little suspicious, "I mean, is the quantitative constant really an unnecessary constant?"

"It should be correct." Maca nodded, then explained to Hermione in a low voice. Hermione inserted a couple of sentences as she listened, but she seemed a little convinced.

"What are they talking about?" Ron turned his head and asked Harry.

"It's probably the content of the potions class." Harry had finished tossing now, a Flobber caterpillar writhing and struggling in his gloved right hand, but couldn't escape the one alive. The evil claws that prevented it from eating.

"So, we have to learn that...I mean, what they are talking about?" Ron hesitantly moved over to listen to a few more words, then looked back at Harry.

Harry shook his head, all he knew was that he didn’t understand at all, "Should... not?"

Ron once again looked at Maca and Hermione who were discussing in a low voice, and then gave up the usual practice and continued to fertilize the herbs.

"Maca, who is always clean and tidy, and Hermione who is always messy, this combination is rare." He muttered softly, puzzled.

"Then, that Maca who has been lying in bed and can't get up is actually an excellent student."

Before school started, Maca lived in Sha for a long time. Ron thinks he is still familiar with him. Although he looks smart and calm, he is actually lazy in nature, and he is still in bed! It seemed that it was not what he had imagined at all. He thought that he had found a good partner who was similar to himself!

"...Maybe, I can ask him for help with homework that I can't handle in the future?" Ron suddenly had this idea, at least he thought it was a great idea.

Behind the herbal practice class is the flight class that many people are looking forward to. Maca and Ravenclaw took this course together.

Maca is naturally looking forward to this course that allows people to fly freely in mid-air, but he is not sure if he will encounter any difficulties. To be honest, he doesn't have a good sense of direction in normal times. If he flies to the sky, will he really not be able to find North?

The first lesson of the flight class was held by the main entrance of Hogwarts Castle. There was a slightly concave flat ground. The grass on the ground swayed slowly with the breeze, and it looked lively. Look like.

Looking to the east, you can see a dark forest edge, the tall tree canopy rippling with the wind, making a rustling noise.

Hufflepuff’s little badgers are already standing on the field. They watched Ravenclaw’s classmates come here unhurriedly. The flight class teacher, Mrs. Hooch, was urging loudly. , Let them go faster.

"Okay, what are you waiting for?" she said sharply, "Everyone is standing next to a flying broom. Hurry, hurry, hurry up."

Madam Hooch’s short gray hair stood like steel needles, and could not even be blown by the wind; her eyes were yellow, and she looked like an eagle that was strictly urging a young bird.

Maca chose one that seemed pleasing to the eye from the broomsticks neatly arranged on the ground, and stood quietly next to it, watching the other students hurriedly find their place and stand.

"Extend your right hand and place it above the broomstick," Madam Hooch shouted in front, "then say: ‘get up!’"

"Get up!" In Madam Hooch's strict tone, everyone seemed to be affected a bit, and even the shouts were more tidy.

The broom jumped into Maca's hand very obediently. He felt the strange and fresh taste, and he felt it was not bad.

But other students may not be so smoothly. Some broomsticks just jumped on the spot, and some rolled on the ground. Ernie’s broomstick even went into the air directly, putting the palm of his hand. It's all red.

It seems that this thing is still related to talent, after all, only a few people can normally fall into their hands.

Then, Mrs. Hooch showed them how to ride the broom without sliding off the head. She walked around in the team, corrected the hand grip for the students, and from time to time criticized those who were always doing badly.

"Okay, when I blow the whistle, you should kick your legs off the ground and kick hard." Madam Hooch said, "Hold the broom firmly, rise a few feet, and then lean forward slightly. Fall back to the ground vertically. Listen to my whistle——three——two——"

"Oh-!" Maca exclaimed as he watched the ground getting farther and farther away from him. This feeling was really interesting like never before.

Mrs. Hooch walked back and forth, observing everyone's situation. Of course, there are still many people who can't fly at all. Those broomsticks don't seem to listen to them, but nothing special happens.

"Mr. McLean, you are above the height I said." Mrs. Hooch shouted at Maca, "Come down, pay attention to safety!"

Maca was stunned, and found that he did indeed seem to fly higher than the others. He quickly leaned forward slightly according to what Mrs. Hooch had just said, and the broom immediately descended honestly.

"Good job," Mrs. Hooch patted Maca on the shoulder, "The first thing the novice should pay attention to is safety. The most correct choice is to proceed step by step."

Maca nodded, but thought to himself, "Next week you will see Neville and Harry flying into the sky! Of course, the former is the literal kind, 咻——"

"Mrs. Hooch, I'm thinking, if a novice accidentally falls off the broom, how should I remedy it?" Thinking of this, Maca suddenly changed his mind and said.

He still has a good impression of Neville, a fat boy who is always nervous, so he can prepare Madam Hooch a little bit in advance and maybe his arm won't break.

I guess it must be painful, otherwise Maca would not remember that scene still fresh.

"You can use the Levitation Charm, don't worry," Madam Hooch replied. She thought Maca was worried about her injury. "If it is too late, Madam Pomfrey at the school hospital will heal them. Her Potions have always been effective."

"Oh! Thank you for your answer." Maca pretended to be relieved and politely expressed his gratitude.

Of course, this is just a small episode in learning life. For Maca, it was just a matter of convenience, and he forgot about it in a blink of an eye.

   "Ha—! This feels great!"

With the permission of Mrs. Hooch, Maca got a chance to fly at a low altitude~IndoMTL.com~ It took him a lot of words to apply, and he is happy right now!

The strong wind rushed towards him, whistling past Maca’s ears, blowing his robe into a hunting noise. Under Maca's control, the broom led him to rush from left to right, looking like a shark sprinting in the water.

Although this shark is a bit too close to the "sea floor".

"Be careful--! Slow down! Slow down! Quickly, do as I say--!" Madam Hooch yelled from below, but Maca's ears were full of wind.

After a long time, the addicted Maca finally slowed down. He suddenly pulled the broomstick and dropped his head, drawing a beautiful arc in mid-air.

Before landing, Maca realized that Mrs. Hooch's face was not right, and he immediately understood where the problem was-in the second half of the test flight, his speed seemed too fast.

Even though these brooms are cheap for practice, and some of them seem to be messy, they are really qualified products, not children’s toys for children.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Hooch," Maca bowed his head and apologized immediately after landing, "I was a little bit overwhelmed. I didn't expect the feeling of flying to be so great. I didn't pay attention for a while."

Madam Hooch stared at Maca for a while, and then sighed: "I just said that you have to go step by step... But you are flying well, and you have studied Quidditch Safety Precautions. After that, you may be able to fly a few more times."

"...I believe you will find that it is the right choice to fall in love with Quidditch!"

This is Mrs. Hooch, who treats all people and things with such strictness, justice and responsibility, and most importantly-she loves Quidditch movement from the heart.
