MS-IID is used to stabilize the ability of lubricating oil to prevent corrosion of valve groups in automobile engines under low temperature and short-distance conditions. MS-IIID, IIIE and VD are respectively used to stabilize the high-temperature oxidation, thickening, sludge-grade paint film deposition and engine wear resistance of lubricating oil.

Compared with the SH/T series of tests adopted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China at this stage, MS's tests are obviously more complex and more complete.

Starting from the QS15 V8V10 engine, Zhengxin has used this set of test standards. Therefore, as long as the engine passes the Zhengxin test, there is no pressure at all to pass the review of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

As a low-end and low-cost engine, the p-tec engine itself has no technical difficulties to talk about. The only troublesome part is the camshaft sprocket unique to DVVT technology.

Because all the engines previously manufactured by Zhengxin were relatively high-end in terms of positioning. Therefore, in order to pursue the quiet performance of the engine, the cam chain shaft has always been driven by a belt. However, P-TECDVVT needs to change the state of the intake and exhaust valves very frequently. If it still uses belt transmission, it will not pass the test in terms of durability.

What is embarrassing is that the supporting manufacturers in the industrial park do not have the experience and technology to manufacture such sprocket structural parts...

So at this stage, Zhengxin mobilized the purchasing department to find an international supporting factory.

If this had not delayed the process, I am afraid that the engine would have been ready for review by now.
