Daily Life at Hogwarts Chapter 303: Select a new course
The Easter break is just around the corner, and the students at Hogwarts are starting to get restless again, wishing that the school would be closed immediately so they could have a good time.
However, the Hogwarts professors don't seem to be planning on giving their students a peaceful Easter, with more and more homework piling up on their desks.
If you do all your homework over the Easter break, you probably won't have a good holiday.
Fred and George have also grown grumpy, not only doing their homework, but finding time every day for magical confrontations with Albert, plus thrice-weekly Quidditch training.
Speaking of Quidditch, let the twins gloomy, Gryffindor's next Quidditch match is against Hufflepuff.
Although he has lost two games, Charlie insists that his team work hard to ensure better results next semester. So, Fred and George had little time for anything other than Quidditch training, magic confrontation and homework.
"I feel like I'm losing weight!"
In Transfiguration, Fred is trying to turn the little white rabbit into slippers. He stabs the poor little guy with his wand while complaining to Albert beside him that he's been too busy lately.
If the little white rabbit in front of them can't be turned into slippers, it means that Easter still needs to make time to practice Transfiguration, which is not good news, they have enough things to do.
What made Fred the most angry and depressed was that Albert had successfully turned the little white rabbit into slippers after only one attempt. After several consecutive times, his slippers became more and more delicate.
Albert was so far ahead of them in Transfiguration that even Ravenclaw's Katrina was far behind.
Everyone is so busy just learning magic and dealing with all the heavy homework. Albert always finds time to do other things, making the three of them wonder if Albert really only has twenty-four hours a day?
There is really no comparison between people. When there is a comparison, you will feel that the gap is really big, which makes people feel extremely bad.
"Weasley, don't mess with that poor little white rabbit, or you'll be locked up." Professor McGonagall's stern voice interrupted Fred's complaint, and many people in the class were stumbling around. Head looked over.
"Sorry." Fred muttered, he recaptured the little white rabbit who wanted to escape, and patted its head like Albert, trying to get it to settle down again.
"It's much harder than turning a beetle into a button." George's face was full of grief, his little white rabbit was still a little white rabbit, but Shanna's little white rabbit had changed a little bit, but it dragged on. The boots also have obvious bunny ears, and they move, obviously unsuccessful, but a change is a good sign.
"Do you have any secrets to success?" Fred couldn't help asking.
"There are no shortcuts to learning Transfiguration, Weasley. Transfiguration is a delicate discipline, and you need very hard training to succeed, and you have a long way to go." Professor McGonagall Said calmly, this is not the first time she has heard someone ask such a question.
"I've never seen Albert spend so much time on this!" Fred couldn't help muttering, feeling that Albert was spending far less time on Transfiguration lately than he had been on magical confrontation.
However, Fred immediately shut up when he noticed Professor McGonagall's eyes moving again.
"Easter is coming, I hope you don't just play and forget your homework. It's better not to happen again last Christmas holiday. I suggest you to finish your homework first. Play." Professor McGonagall walked back to the podium, took out a pile of paper from the roll call and distributed it.
Everyone took the list, looked at the contents, and whispered in low voices.
"This is the list of new courses. You need to choose new courses when you are in the third grade. During the Easter holiday, you have enough time to think about this matter." Professor McGonagall's expression was serious. People need to choose at least two courses. If you don’t understand, you can ask me, or ask your elders for advice, you need to be careful, and this will affect your future.”
"Professor, can you tell us about the five new courses?" someone said.
"Divination focuses more on talent. There are very few people in the magic world who can really foresee the future. Most of them are liars who use divination." Professor McGonagall said.
Several students couldn't help but smile. They had heard about Professor Sybill Trelawney, who many thought was a liar and had no way of seeing the future.
"If you want to work with Muggles in the future, you'd better choose Muggle studies. Of course, I know some wizards who grew up around Muggles should be better at this." Professor McGonagall continued said, "Many wizards don't know how to deal with Muggles."
"Unless the professor of Muggle studies Keridi Boubaji was a wizard who grew up around Muggles ~IndoMTL.com~" Albert whispered, "otherwise, I don't think that professor would know much either. . "
As you can see from Arthur Weasley asking what rubber ducks do, wizards know very little about Muggles.
"If you enjoy being outdoors and working with magical beasts, take the Conservation of Fantastic Beasts class."
"Charlie chose the Conservation of Magical Creatures class, he said that there are not many students in the advanced class of Conservation of Magical Creatures," George whispered.
"Arithmetic divination and ancient runic are suitable for wizards who like to study magic. If you want to become a spell breaker, you also need to be proficient in these two subjects."
"The former needs to be sensitive to numbers and can use numerology and grammar to predict the future. Wizards and witches who learn and practice arithmetic are called arithmeticians."
"The latter has something to do with archaeology and alchemy. It requires your talent in language. There are very few wizards who are really good at ancient Rune." Professor McGonagall's eyes stayed on Albert's body for a while, and continued. : "Of course, if any of you plan to choose all subjects, you can come to me privately. But I don't recommend that you choose all subjects, because the busy study pressure may overwhelm you, and if you don't study very well, I generally don't It is recommended that you select all."
"Isobel just voted all." Katrina muttered softly, considering whether she wanted to vote all.
"It depends on what you plan to do in the future." Professor McGonagall reminded, "Go back and think carefully before making a decision."
Fred, George and Lee Jordan are not at all afraid that the courses they choose will be difficult to learn. Even if it is really difficult, Albert is willing to help them, not to mention that they only choose the easier divination and protection Fantastic Beasts, there is no idea of developing in that direction in the future.
