Daily Life at Hogwarts Chapter 347: Magic Candy

An hour later, Albert, Fred and George returned to the Leaky Cauldron after shopping. Mrs Weasley, Ron and Percy had not returned. However, their books had already been delivered, and they were stacked on the floor beside the tables of Herb and Mr. Weasley.

After seeing Albert's return, Herb couldn't help but heaved a sigh of relief and asked, "Have you got everything?"

"If you have all the books, buy them all." Albert said, picking out a marked package from his stack, "This is a gift for everyone."

"Mrs. Weasley has bought all the books you want for you." Herb pointed to the package next to him and said, "Then I'll go back first, you have to pay attention to your own safety."

"Don't worry, we're safe there." Mr. Weasley smiled and helped move things.

Fred and George had been wanting to invite Albert over to their house for a few days, saying that Albert was a great help to them. This time it finally worked.

"Mr. Anderson is different from any Muggle I've ever seen." Mr. Weasley said with emotion, looking in the direction where the car disappeared.

Every time he discusses some appliances in the Muggle world with someone else, they look at him like a madman.

It is rare for a Muggle like Herb to patiently explain to him the usefulness of those electrical appliances, and the tone of his voice makes him feel comfortable.

It is not difficult to see that Herb is very concerned about his son and has inquired a lot about the magical world.

It is important to communicate and understand each other.

"Well, he's very receptive to certain things." Albert knew that Herb didn't have much patience, and said casually, "After all, my son is a wizard."

After returning to the Leaky Cauldron, Mr. Weasley ordered a butterbeer for each of the three, preparing to continue their conversation with Albert about Muggle appliances.

However, the topic was quickly diverted by Albert, discussing the Gringotts invasion.

"Everyone suspects that some very powerful dark wizard did it." Mr. Weasley said what he knew, "This is not good news, the goblins at Gringotts were almost mad, and they still Still no clue of the intruder."

"The Daily Prophet said that the item was not lost, but it seemed that someone had taken it early." Albert suddenly said, "It should be a very valuable item."

"I don't know." Mr. Weasley was less inclined to discuss the subject.

"The goblins are actually stupid." Albert suddenly lowered his voice.

Mr. Weasley opened his mouth, but heard Albert continue, "I can't find the culprit. In fact, you can ask the owner of the deposit, maybe the other party knows who invaded Gringotts."

"Why?"

Mr. Weasley was also stunned, but Fred was the first to ask everyone's doubts.

"The goblins didn't reveal what was in the vault, and there must be not many people who knew what that item was," Albert said in a low voice, "and the thieves actually stared at it, which means that the other party is very aware of what is in the vault. What, otherwise why didn't he steal other valuables, but just stared at the contents of the vault?"

"Well, it makes sense, the thief is certainly not ignorant." George echoed.

"Then, surely the wizard who put the thing in Gringotts wouldn't be ignorant of the matter? He obviously knew or had a premonition, otherwise he couldn't have taken the thing away in advance." Albert continued to analyze "There are not so many coincidences in the world."

Mr Weasley also had to admit that Albert was right.

However, this topic could not be continued. Mrs. Weasley came back with Ron with a pile of packages, followed by Percy with an owl.

They ask Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron, to borrow the fireplace and use Floo powder to return to the Burrow.

Albert was the first to emerge from the fireplace, and as soon as he moved away, there were rapid footsteps upstairs.

"Mom, did you help me buy..."

A red-haired girl appeared at the entrance of the stairs, looked at the stranger at home, froze for a moment, and looked at Albert vigilantly.

She was relieved quickly, though, as Fred and George emerged from the fireplace one after the other.

"Our sister Ginny." Fred introduced each other. "This is Albert, I told you, he will be at our house these days."

"Hello Ginny." Albert greeted Ginny with a smile. This is a cute red-haired girl.

"Hello!" Ginny looked at Albert and quickly ran to Mrs Weasley, who had just emerged from the fireplace.

"The wizard's home is incredible." Albert said with a smile, looking at the pot he was cleaning. "It's magic... by the way, what about Charlie?"

"Charlie went to Romania to study dragons." George said helplessly. "We only took him to King's Cross Station a few days ago to take the train."

"Train?"

"King's Cross has trains to other countries," explained George.

"I thought wizards would travel using portkeys or floo powder."

"Most of the time, only smuggling wizards use port keys." Mr. Weasley finally emerged from the fireplace. "You're staying at Charlie tonight."

"Of course Albert is staying in our room, and George is going to sleep in Charlie's room." Fred said immediately.

"Why didn't you sleep in Charlie's room," George complained.

"Come on, I'll show you our bedroom." Fred ignored George's complaints and said to Albert with his own package, "Last time, we already have that thing you mentioned. Some research results."

"That thing?" Albert was stunned for a moment before remembering what Fred was talking about.

Crossing the narrow aisle ~IndoMTL.com~ and stepping onto the rickety stairs, George said regretfully, "Unfortunately, it's only half-finished."

Fred and George's room is a mess with a lot of stuff piled up inside.

"Originally, we were going to enchant the toffee, but it didn't work. We had to work on the potion, but it wasn't easy." Fred sat on the camp cot, turning the table The toffee on the top tossed to Albert, "This is a semi-finished product made by us."

"Looks like you need a lab where you can try using the Traceless Stretching Charm. Also, no one eats this stuff, the potion smells too strong." Albert peeled off the shell and smelled it. The smell of candy, a slight frown, the smell of a leavening agent in the toffee.

"Dad won't agree." George was very depressed, "Last time he scolded us because of this incident."

"Why?"

"The Ministry of Magic doesn't allow wizards to use that spell at will," Fred explained.

"As long as the Ministry of Magic doesn't know about it." Albert picked up the book and started flipping through it. "Are you going to try improving the swelling potion?"

"Well, we've tried tumescent agents, and they're terrible. The last time Fred died, my tongue couldn't taste it for several days." George continued with an unforgettable expression, "So , we tried a bulking agent again, but that stuff made a very strong toffee."

"That thing in your hand is the latest improvement. We're going to try it with the goblins downstairs." Fred whispered. "Of course, don't let Mom know. Maybe, you can help us improve it."

The twins look at Albert expectantly.

"Test the effect of candy first?" Albert blinked, "Where are the goblins you said?"
