Harry Potter: Dark Alchemy Chapter 54: Dumbledore’s last phantom shift lesson

   There was an awkward silence.

"I have one more question." Wright glanced at Dumbledore and asked again.

"Uh," Dumbledore paused and said hesitantly. After all, the question Wright asked just now made him feel a little embarrassed, "Go ahead."

"Why can you apparate in the school?"

"Oh, this!" Dumbledore suddenly came to his energy, and said with joy, "Wright, you know, as the principal, you should always be a bit privileged."

After finishing talking, Dumbledore blinked at Wright mischievously, um, by the way.

Wright was not surprised by Dumbledore’s words about the principal’s privileges, but only felt disgusted by his actions behind him. Can you imagine the gesture of an old grandfather with white hair and white beard? That is simply a nightmare in life!

Dumbledore asked Fox to grab Wright’s shoulder, and the next moment later, the two of them appeared directly in a clearing deep in the Forbidden Forest.

After being taken by Fox for many times, Wright is already fully familiar with this feeling, so this time it didn't take much time to fully recover.

"Wright, do you remember the three D principles of Apparition?" Dumbledore said to Wright after waving Fox away.

"Of course!" Wright nodded affirmatively, "The three principles of Apparition, namely goal, determination, and calmness!"

"Yes!" Dumbledore praised him, and then drew out his wand to form a wooden circle on the ground not far away.

"The first step is to focus your attention on the target you are going to apparate," Dumbledore said. "Of course, this target is now the wooden circle in your eyes."

Wright's eyes widened, staring intently at the small round ground in the wooden circle.

"The second step," Dumbledore said, "Resolve to occupy the space you want! Let the determination to go in fill every part of your body!"

Wright is now almost completely free of distractions.

"The third step, after I finish talking about the start, rotate on the spot, let yourself enter the void state, and move calmly!"

  "Three——"

  "Two——"

  "One——"

   "Start!"

"Goal, determination, calm." Wright muttered silently in his heart, and then turned around on the spot.

   There was a crackling sound.

The familiar feeling came again, as if being squeezed strongly from all directions, completely breathless. As if it had been an instant, and as if it had been a whole year, this feeling finally dissipated, as if squeezed out of a very, very small rubber tube.

A few seconds later, Wright slowly began to slow down, his thoughts kept up with his feelings, and then he realized that he had just performed the first independent apparition in his life.

right rubbed his head, which was a little confused by the apparition, with his right hand.

But it succeeded! It succeeded just once! Wright shook his head, I really am a genius!

"It's okay, you stand still and I'll pass right away." Dumbledore's voice came from a distance, "Wizards who can succeed the first Apparition are still quite rare. ."

Wright looked at Dumbledore’s voice, his face stiffened, and then he stood there and watched Dumbledore walking towards this side with his left hand.

The first apparition was not as successful as Wright had imagined. His left hand remained in place during the apparition.

Dumbledore took Wright’s left hand into his empty sleeve, and after applying a layer of white freshness to the interface, as a burst of purple smoke rose, Wright was able to feel his left hand again. Existed.

Wright shook his left arm gently, feeling the magical feeling that he had never felt before. At the moment of body separation caused by the apparition, I felt nothing, neither weightlessness nor pain. It was as if I had always only had one right hand, and even the movement of rubbing his head just now used his right hand unconsciously.

Until now, Wright still feels that the arm he is now attached may be fake.

"Can I try again?" Wright took a deep breath and asked Dumbledore.

"No problem," Dumbledore said. "The successful use of any enchantment requires unremitting efforts. Practice makes perfect!"

Dumbledore re-arranged the wooden circle, but did not teleport Wright to the spot, but let Wright walk back slowly.

once again stood on the ground just now, and Wright once again stared at the small piece of mud in the wooden circle in the distance.

"Goal, determination, calm." Wright turned around again.

The familiar squeeze of Apparition Shift once again. After this feeling disappeared, Wright did not immediately make any movements, but silently perceives his body.

left hand fingers, right hand fingers, left foot sole, right foot sole......

"Very well, Wright, I didn't expect your second apparition would be successful." The moment Wright opened his eyes, Dumbledore's words also reached his ears.

"After you are fully able to master the apparition, our training will officially end, and you will need to find a solution for future training." Dumbledore walked to Wright and said.

"End?" Wright looked at Dumbledore with some surprise.

"Yes, everything has an end." Dumbledore said with a smile, "So don't be too troubled by this matter."

"Why did you just end up learning Apparition?" Wright looked at Dumbledore in a puzzled way~IndoMTL.com~I think I still have a lot to learn, combat experience, combat wisdom, advanced Spell..."

"Now what I teach you is enough, Wright. At least for a normal Hogwarts graduate, what I teach you is all they can learn in school." Dumbledore interrupted Wright's words, "As for what you said, you need to slowly and deeply understand it in the days to come."

"Maybe Fantastic Beasts will be your next target, and the Forbidden Forest may be a good place to go." Dumbledore looked around his surroundings.

"But didn't you say that students are prohibited from entering the forbidden forest?" Wright asked with a bit of reluctance, "Maybe I need to continue studying with you for a while?"

"But are you an average student? Besides, I don't think you are a good student." Ignoring the second half of Wright's sentence, Dumbledore just smiled and answered his first sentence.

After another hour of training, Lightcancan can only Apparate successfully every time.

Dumbledore returned to the principal's office with the exhausted Wright. The principal's office was exactly the same as when Wright first arrived.

Dumbledore walked back to the principal's chair behind the office and sat down while Wright stood silently at the desk.

Gryffindor’s sword lay quietly on the shelf, and the paintings of the principals of past generations were quietly hung on the wall, and even the sorting hat, which was always chattering a few times, was silent at this time.

"Then, teacher, good night." Wright saluted Dumbledore deeply.

   "Wright, good night."
