Hogwarts Outsider Chapter 72: The lost memory

The look on Justin Fenrieri's face was very, very painful.

He desperately covered his head, as if it was about to explode.

"If you can't remember it, don't think about it again." Matthew comforted calmly.

At the same time, he bent down, picked up all the gadgets that Justin dropped on the ground earlier, and returned them to him.

"Thank you!" Justin's face softened a little, and he hugged them again.

Then, he said dejectedly: "I'm going back to Hufflepuff's common room first, I'm very sleepy now..."

"Okay, goodbye!" Matthew waved with him.

Looking at the back of Justin Fenliery going away, Matthew fell into deep thought.

The reaction of this Hufflepuff boy is undoubtedly the manifestation of the "Forgetting Curse".

The effect of the forgetting spell can make people lose certain specific memories.

Moreover, among him, it should belong to the kind of forgetting spell that is not very good (or the wizard who uses this spell is of average level)... In his mind, about the witch wearing a thick black scarf , and some impressions, most of them have been deleted; but there are still some afterimages left.

So when others mentioned that image in front of him, he would have a strange reaction.

So now comes the problem!

Why did that witch in the thick black veil go to find Justin Finchley?

And the time she went to find Justin Fenley should be after she passed through Honeydukes tunnel and threw her away.

Do you want to get some information about yourself through him?

If this is the case, then there is no doubt that she has miscalculated... Matthew and Justin Fenriely have only officially known each other until today, and he knew very little about himself before that .

Or, my previous deduction was completely wrong... The original purpose of the witch wearing a thick black scarf was not to find herself at all!

She just wanted to grab a little wizard from Hogwarts and get some information from her mouth.

The first target she found was herself, but she got rid of her through the Honeydukes tunnel... So, she turned her target to Justin Fenrey, who was also in Hogsmeade.

Matthew's expression became a little dignified.

If this is the case, then the real purpose of that witch wearing a thick black scarf is questionable!

Moreover, it is very likely that it is related to the previous series of attacks at Hogwarts.

……

"What are you doing here?" A cold voice sounded from behind.

It was Agnes Lestrange, holding a rear admiral's hat in one hand, and a cluster of glitter balloons in the other... little presents that looked like they had been blown out of a bag of firecrackers.

"Sorry, I was thinking about something." Matthew regained his composure and said softly.

"Let's go back to the common room together?" Lestrange offered to propose, "Or do you have other schedules?"

"No." Matthew nodded: "Let's go back to the common room together."

In this way, the two walked side by side, holding a strange Christmas gift in their hands, and walked deep into the basement.

In this cold, damp and even somewhat gloomy corridor, except for the footsteps of the two, there was an awkward silence.

Matthew suddenly realized that he and Agnes Lestrange had known each other for almost four months and had a lot of contacts. There is very little verbal communication between them.

In other words, they rarely speak.

"The previous attack..." Miss Lestrange also realized that the atmosphere was a bit weird, and when she was approaching the Potions classroom, she took the initiative to ask, "Do you think it's over?"

"Of course not." Matthew replied without thinking.

"So sure?" Lestrange gave him a strange look.

"It's just a reasonable guess." Matthew also realized that he had made a mistake, and quickly explained.

"Then you're still so sure?" Lestrange snorted coldly, "Say it as if you know the inside story!"

Matthew did not answer, and an awkward silence fell between the two of them.

After walking a few steps deeper into the Potions classroom, an abandoned toilet appeared in front of him.

Matthew turned his head and looked at it carefully. On the door plate in front of the bathroom, there was a huge word "fault" written on it.

"This is the girls' bathroom!" Lestrange reminded.

"Of course I know, I just took a look." Matthew said flatly: "This should not violate the school rules."

"People have died in this bathroom!" Lestrange's voice suddenly became a little low:

"Almost fifty years ago, a Ravenclaw girl ~IndoMTL.com~ mysteriously died in it...then Headmaster Armando Dippet closed the bathroom and it was Abandoned like this."

Of course Matthew is aware of this matter.

He also knew that the dead girl was named Myrtle; after she died, she became a ghost named "Weeping Myrtle"; and the murderer who killed her was released from the secret room by Tom Riddle. Basilisk!

Wait...

Matthew stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong with you?" Lestrange looked at him suspiciously.

"It's nothing." Matthew spread his hands and continued to walk towards the Slytherin common room.

……

A few minutes later, they stood in front of the giant snake statue at the stone gate.

"Victory comes first!"

Matthew uttered the password for these two weeks, and the stone door was opened.

Agnes Lestrange walked towards her bedroom without looking back.

But Matthew stopped because he saw a ghost around the corner of the common room.

Matthew hurried over and asked very respectfully, "My lord?"

The **** Baron raised his head and looked Matthew up and down: "What's the matter?"

"In Hogwarts Castle, is there a ghost named 'Weeping Myrtle'?" Matthew asked quickly.

"That's right." Bloody Baro agreed.

"So have you seen her during this time?" Matthew continued to ask.

"Myrtle seldom leaves her territory." Bloody Baron replied coldly, "Of course, I haven't seen her once since the beginning of this semester!"

"Okay, thank you!" Matthew bowed politely.

Then, he also returned to his bedroom.
