Hogwarts Outsider Chapter 87: Judgment
It was already dark.
Since Hogwarts is already under curfew, there is no need for Mr. Pringle to laboriously light the lamps.
The entire castle was almost dark, except for the Great Hall, which still shone brightly.
There were almost a dozen teachers gathered in the auditorium, including the vice principal, four deans, some other professors, and of course Mr. Pringle with his golden retriever.
Almost all the teachers in the school came.
They already know what happened.
So the expressions on their faces are different, some are angry, some are sad, and some are worried...
And surrounded by them in the middle is a teacher who is bound by a magic rope.
Or a former teacher, perhaps more appropriate.
Professor Troka, the teacher of Transfiguration, was bound tightly all over his body. He was tied to a chair and his wand was taken away.
His face looked abnormally pale, but the expression on his face was calm.
Professor Flitwick stood in front of him, this short Charms teacher looked extremely excited at this moment:
"Troka! The portrait of Principal Dai Lisi Dewente tells us that during that time, only you, Granger and Longbottom were admitted to the school hospital!"
"Yes." Troka replied calmly.
"How could you..." Professor Flitwick raised his index finger angrily, and cursed: "Do you think we don't know about your vampire status, we just trust Principal Grindelwald's choice... How dare you do such a thing! How dare you attack students at Hogwarts!"
Troka lowered his head and said nothing.
Professor Sinista in the astronomy class is obviously calmer than Professor Flitwick.
She bent down and patted Professor Flitwick's shoulder lightly, signaling him not to be so angry.
"Troka, were you the one who injured Madam Pomfrey?" Then, Professor Sinista asked coldly.
"That's right." Troka replied calmly.
"Did you drink Justin Finch's blood?" Professor Sinistra continued to ask.
"Yes!" Troka's expression remained the same.
"So you took Granger and Longbottom from the school hospital?" Professor Sinistra finally asked.
Troka nodded again.
"Oh, I can't believe it..." Professor Sprout covered his face with his hands, looked at Troka, and couldn't help shaking his head at the same time.
She wasn't the only one who had this reaction.
The other teachers all expressed their disbelief.
However, since the suspects all confessed, they couldn't say anything more.
……
"Bastard..." Professor Flitwick looked even more angry, and growled, "Where did you hide Granger and Longbottom? Hand them over!"
This time, Troka showed a hesitant look on his face.
"I started bringing them to my office...then...then...they suddenly disappeared...I've been looking for them all afternoon too..."
"Lie! Clumsy lie!" Professor Flitwick looked even more angry: "You think this kind of lie can deceive us?"
Professor Troka looked up, but soon he looked down again.
If you follow his line of sight, you can see his gaze, which is Professor Rozier, the vice principal.
At that moment, Professor Troka's eyes showed a pleading expression.
But because the light was too dark, the other teachers present didn't notice it.
"Horace! Horace!" shouted Professor Flitwick.
"I'm here, Felius!" The Potions teacher responded quickly.
"Please, bring your best veritaserum... please... we must make this vampire tell the truth!" Professor Flitwick said hysterically.
"Okay!" Without hesitation, Horace Slughorn turned and prepared to walk to his office.
"Wait a minute!" But Professor Rozier suddenly spoke and stopped Professor Slughorn.
"Aren't you going to get it, Principal Rozier?" Slughorn looked puzzled.
"Veritaserum, it doesn't work for a vampire like him." Professor Rozier replied flatly.
Then she added: "Even if Legilimency is used on him, his Occlumency can hide us... So, such actions are futile"
"Then what should we do?" Professor Flitwick looked at the vice-principal and asked for help.
The eyes of more than a dozen teachers looked at Professor Rozier at the same time.
Including the gaze of Professor Edward Troka.
Coincidentally, Professor Rozier was also looking at Troka; the two almost looked at each other, and there was a pleading look in Troka's eyes.
It's just Principal Rozier, still expressionless.
"I will be writing to Minister Millicent Barnold that the real culprit for this series of attacks at Hogwarts has been found~IndoMTL.com~It is our Transfiguration teacher Edward Tellow Card!" Professor Rozier said lightly: "Edward Troka will be sent to Azkaban, where the dementors may make him speak..."
"That's the only way to go." Several teachers next to him sighed.
"Horace, you go and write a letter to the editor-in-chief of the "Daily Prophet", Mr. Guffy, and tell him that everything that happened at Hogwarts can be published in the newspaper!" Professor Rozier once again opened the mouth.
"Okay, I understand." Slughorn nodded: "I will write a letter later."
After hearing Principal Rozier's words, a look of pain suddenly appeared on Troka's face at this moment.
He opened his mouth, as if he was about to say something.
However, when he raised his head, his gaze met Principal Rozier again.
Principal Rozier glared at him sharply.
In the end, Troka still had no choice but to lower his head. He smiled weakly and shook his head self-deprecatingly.
……
The trial is drawing to a close and the real culprit has been caught and confessed to his crimes.
Just wait for the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic to arrive and take the criminal to Azkaban, and it will all be over.
"Everyone leave!" Professor Rozier said calmly: "Pomona, Horace, you take the vampire Troka to the tower of West Tower and lock him up."
Professor Sprout and Professor Slughorn nodded hastily.
The teachers dispersed one by one.
Meanwhile, behind the door of the auditorium.
Perceived something strange in the auditorium——
A small black shadow hurriedly dodged.
Finally disappearing completely into darkness.
