Nightfall Chapter 80: Learning Buddhism
~Date:~October 30th~
"A **** gas rushed into the sky that day. I was terrified on Washan Mountain. The bell in the 17th Hall of Lanke Temple gave out warning signs and rang at the same time. The bell sounded for three days and three nights."
Master Qishan turned around, looked at Ning Que and said, "And just a few days ago, the seventeen Buddha bells in Lanke Temple rang autonomously again, and the sound of the bells reached Washan, so I realized the **** blood. The air has appeared again."
Listening to these words, the expression on Ning Que's face did not change at all, but the body in the black uniform was involuntarily tightened slowly, his heart was slightly disturbed, and then he became alarmed.
The Buddha bell in Lanke Temple once rang because of Liansheng’s gluttonous gluttony, so when the bell sounded again the other day, I naturally sensed what he did to Longqing in the autumn rain at Honglian Temple.
Master Qishan has obviously guessed the truth of the matter, but he did not expose the truth. He kindly said: "I am now aging and dying. Although the so-called righteous demon can't be seen through, I can at least see it. It's weak, but there are still many people in this world who can't bear it down, such as Xuankong Temple and Daomen."
"In the eyes of the Haotian Taoist School, Buddhism is an outsider, let alone a Demon Sect? Ning Que, you have to understand that humans cannot conquer the sky. No matter how strong Mr. Ke is, he will not be able to overcome this sky. No matter how tall the Master is, it is impossible to be higher than the sky, so there are things that can be touched without touching them. If you have touched them, forget them too."
Ning Que knew that the master was kind, and persuaded himself not to go deeper and deeper on the path of enchantment, no matter what the situation, do not use evil and **** gluttony**.
After that autumn rain, he often felt that there was still a strong, slightly sweet, **** smell in his mouth, as if the traces of Long Qing's flesh and blood were still hanging between his teeth, and he was disgusting to the extreme.
Because of the psychological shadow of his childhood, he believes that he can control not to use gluttony, but it is impossible to stop practicing the awe-inspiring spirit of the young master, so will he eventually follow the old path of the young master?
Master Qishan said: "Tell me about Liansheng."
Ning Que bowed his head in silence. Even if the master had guessed the truth of the matter, he was still not prepared to admit those things because he didn't want to take any risks.
Master Qishan sighed and said: "Decades ago, I brought my brother Lian Sheng to the Buddhist School, how could I not feel that his mantle was passed to you, I just want to know his later situation. "
Perhaps it was the regretful feeling in the master's voice that moved Ning Que, or that he had no enmity towards his brothers. After hesitating for a while, he began to tell the bizarre story deep in the wasteland.
"The side hall is full of bones and corpses. Master Liansheng is sitting in the middle of the pile of bones..."
……
……
Lanke Temple is quiet in the autumn rain. I don't know which incense is burning in the temple. Stubbornly penetrating through the heavy rain, floated to the back hallway, turning the suppressed cold atmosphere into Zhuang Su.
After listening to Ning Que's account. Master Qishan was silent for a long time.
He sniffed the faint scent, raised his thin arm, his fingers trembling slightly in the air. It seems that I want to grasp something, but the fragrance of Zen is smelly and intangible, like a memory, I can't grasp it at all.
"It's that in that desperate situation, it is still okay. I want to get out of trouble through you. It really is the temperament of Junior Liansheng. Although he eventually died, he was actually free from the cage of his body. He should be happy. Yes.
A complex smile appeared on the master's old face.
Ning Que thought about the experiences in the Demon Sect Mountain Gate back then, and thought about the fragments of consciousness of the lotus life in the place where he knew Houhou, and his mood was also very complicated.
He looked at the mulberry on the futon in the depths of the temple, and said: "Before Lian was born and died, he once said that the Dao and Demon can be immersed in the spirit, and now San has already practiced both Dao and Buddhism. And her body seems to be born with some Divinity, if you continue to practice in this way, is it possible to repeat the mistakes of Liansheng and become a lunatic?"
Master Qishan looked at the hall calmly and said: "If you want black chess to turn white, you can turn white. Thought is what I said in Buddhism, and it has power. She doesn't want to become a lotus student, so she won't Become a lotus student."
Then the master turned around and looked at him and asked: "But what do you... do you think?"
Ning Que thought for a while and said, "I don't know, but it must be simpler."
"The simpler and purer, the more powerful, and sometimes the more terrifying."
Master Qishan looked at him and said with a gentle expression: "Why didn't you enter the temple and listen to me with Sang before? If you think I did not speak well, there are many Buddhist scriptures hidden in Lanke Temple, you can go by yourself Read. The Dharma can get rid of the demons of the heart and remove all obstacles, which is good for you now."
"Master Liansheng once said that the Buddhist scriptures are as vast as the ocean, but if you look carefully under the surface of the paper, you will find that all the Dharma is actually just one word: forbearance. And the second brother also said However, the three thousand Dharma is just teaching people to learn a method of self-deception."
Ning Que said: "Forbearance and self-deception are both external and internal, and they all say the same thing. I am very good at tolerance and do not need to learn. As for... the method of self-deception, if I deceive myself, After a long time, I forgot my original intention, thinking that those are all real and I can't wake up."
"Mr. Two holds the gift, naturally you can't see the style of Buddhism without father and no ruler."
Master Qishan asked: "But if life is a big dream, why wake up?"
Ning Que said: "Even if we dream, we must be real, so that we can be happy, so even if life is really a big dream, we have to pretend it is not a dream."
Master Qishan asked again: "Then how do you know that the world in the Buddhist scriptures is a false dream, not real?"
After uttering that sentence earlier, Ning Que remembered that he used to brag with Chen Pipi in the mountains behind the academy that he, a non-student person, would occasionally make shocking remarks, and he was a little proud.
However, the master immediately asked again. He found that he did not know how to answer, and he confirmed that the shocking words of those who did not read were indeed only occasional things, and he was not qualified to participate in any Zen.
He said helplessly: "Why does the master want me to also learn Buddhism and Zen Zen? Sang is sick, and I can't get better without studying Buddhism. This is her fate with Buddhism. I don't think I have any Buddha fate." /
Master Qishan laughed and said, "Where can the fate that Buddhism talk about is so simple to recognize? It seems that you haven't read any Buddhist scriptures. I have to help you with this lesson for the master. "
Ning Que increasingly felt that something was wrong.
"The master seems to value me very much, but I really don't think I have anything special."
He turned to look at Sang in the temple, and said: "Compared with her, I sometimes feel stupid like a pig. No matter how I practice Buddha, it is impossible for the Buddha to have a master. "
"She is the most special one. And you are also the special one."
Master Qishan followed his gaze and looked at the already settled Sang, admiringly said: "The girl of light is pure in body and mind, she knows the magic arts at the first thought, and understands the principles of Buddhism at the second thought, and knows fate for three years... "
Ning Que shook his head repeatedly without waiting for the master to finish speaking.
"I know someone is faster than me. So I don't feel special."
Master Qishan said: "But that kind of person is extremely rare."
Ning Que said: "No matter how few there are, there are. So I am not special."
Master Qishan looked into his eyes and said puzzledly: "It seems that you are very special."
Ning Que said: "Xiu Yulin is really annoying. I don't want to be a fat pig."
Master Qishan laughed and said, "This is just because you are in the academy."
Ning Que said with a smile: "Yes, for example, my elder brother Chao Wudong Xuan. Xi Jinzhi fate, such a person is qualified to say special, even if I smash the dark horse's ass, I can't catch up."
"Mr. Da, such a peerless person who learned the Tao and entered the Tao at night, naturally cannot be compared.
Master Qishan said: "But you are very different from the ordinary practitioners in the world. Except for Master Yan Se who saw your talent on the rune, the rest of your spiritual talents are just ordinary..."
Ning Que added: "It's more than ordinary, it's terrible."
Master Qishan said: "However, with a terrible talent, you can learn life after three years of cultivation. This proves that your ability has exceeded the scope of ordinary talent..."
"I don’t know how you practiced. But I have heard of your performance at the three most critical moments in the path of practice. When you entered the path of talisman, you relied on a summer rain. A fried fish, and the other day you knew your fate in the battle without warning."
The master continued: "The cultivator pays attention to step by step and learns to master the laws of heaven and earth's vitality, while my Buddhist disciples rely on years of hard work and accumulation, which is the so-called enlightenment."
Ning Que remembered the teachings of Master Huang Yang at Wanyan Pagoda Temple.
Master Qishan looked into his eyes. Seriously said: "Your performance when you broke the realm has nothing to do with those opportunities. It is more like the epiphany of my Buddhism. So your understanding is very good. It is a pity not to learn Buddhism."
At this time, Ning Que had to feel that the second brother's words really made sense. Regardless of Dao Buddhism, those who want to absorb new blood when Nirvana is like the spitting guys in the Mouse Club...
"I am really afraid that I will fall asleep reading Buddhist scriptures."
He begged for mercy.
Master Qishan took out an extremely thin scripture from his sleeve and handed it over, saying: "I specially picked an interesting Buddhist scripture, and it is very short. You should not fall asleep."
After saying this, the master walked into the hall to see how much Sang has realized today.
Ning Que opened the scriptures in his hand and saw that they were all very simple illustrations of Buddhist scriptures. He couldn't help but feel a little bit ashamed. He shouted at the back of the master: "This is for children. Can I change it?" "
……
……
After eating at noon and resting for a while, Sang continued his Buddhist course. Ning Que stood under the porch of the temple, holding a snow lotus to tease the **** horse. He was so bored that he finally remembered the scripture.
The lines of the illustrations in the scriptures are simple and smooth, and the stories are extremely interesting. They hide the enlightenment meaning deeply and ingeniously. The more he looked at it, the more interested he became. Simply let the monk in the temple find a bamboo chair.
He was lying on the chair, flipping through the book at will, occasionally taking a sip of hot tea, and when he didn't want to read, he looked up at the drizzle in front of the Buddha Hall, soothed his eyes and felt comfortable.
Master Qishan walked out of the hall.
Ning Que got up from the chair, handed over the hot tea, and wondered: "Why did the master come out?"
Master Qishan was not polite with him, took the hot tea, lay down comfortably on the bamboo chair, and said: "Miss Sang is in peace again, and I have nothing to do in there, so I came out to talk to you." /
Ning Que was surprised and said, "I'm back in peace so soon? Isn't this dead girl sleeping?"
Entering concentration is a term dedicated to Buddhism, which refers to the pre-enlightenment of the precipitation of thoughts and the state of selflessness. If you use Taoist practice as a metaphor, it is probably the empty realm before you find an opportunity.
Sang enters concentration before noon and enters concentration again in the afternoon. This is equivalent to saying that Master Qishan taught her the Buddhist teachings. She doesn't need to spend a lot of effort to understand the truth. No one can believe this.
Even if Ning Que knew that when she was learning the Xiling Divine Art with Wei Guangming, she still couldn't believe it that she could give birth to the supernatural radiance from her fingertips, so he doubted that the girl was asleep.
Master Qishan said: "I can still see the difference between falling asleep and going into concentration."
Ning Que looked at him calmly and asked curiously: "Master, you don't seem to be surprised."
Master Qishan took a sip of tea, smiled and said, "No matter how strange things happen to her, I will not be surprised."
Ning Que said: "I believe what you said last night now."
"Which sentence?"
"You said Sang can become a Buddha."
"Everyone can become a Buddha."
"Master, I am really not good at saying these, although Zen does sound very charming."
"Then I'll be more specific."
Master Qishan lay in the chair, tightened the cotton-padded jacket on his body, and said: "The Buddha is a human being, why can't that person become a Buddha?"
Ning Que said: "I used to think that the Buddha is like Haotian, just a symbol, until the teacher said it once, and then I saw the chessboard yesterday, I knew that the Buddha really existed."
Master Qishan looked up at the sky and said: "Buddha once lived under the sky."
Ning Que looked at the gloomy sky where the rain was falling, and asked: "Since it is Haotian's world, why is there a Buddha? Where did the Buddha go?"
Master Qishan said: "Since there is a beginning, there is an end, and there is life and death. Since the Buddha is a human, he will pass away naturally in the end. This is a matter of history."
Ning Que thought about his bizarre experience, meditating that life does not necessarily mean death.
As soon as I thought of this, after seeing the lingering autumn rain, he felt like a spring rain. He couldn't help feeling a little tired, thinking that he was just chatting, he should also talk about something meaningful, leaning on the railing and asked:
"If the Buddha is also a practitioner...what realm did he reach in the end?"
"As a disciple of Buddhism, where can I presumptuously capture the power of the Buddha?"
"The Buddha is merciful, and talking about it is not a sin."
Ning Que looked at the master and tentatively asked: "The Buddha must have surpassed the five realms, right?"
The master smiled and said: "I don't have a Buddhist concept of five realms."
"I mean the approximate level."
"Natural."
Ning Que understood.
He suddenly thought of a rumor and looked at Master Qishan and asked seriously: "It is said that before the Master was ill, he was recognized by the spiritual world as the most successful person to overcome the five realms?"
