Nightfall Chapter 82: I have feelings about the statue of Venerable Ye Guanshi

"Since the sun and the moon correspond, there should be a month if there is a day."

"The sun and the moon reincarnate, the light blends, and the moon should be at night."

"There are countless calamities, and the moon will not be seen forever."

"This violates the principle of everlasting nature."

"The night is coming, the moon is present. The night in this sentence refers not to every ordinary night, but eternal night."

"At the end of the eternal night, in the Era of Dharma, there will be moons and natural rebirth."

"If this side does not die, the world has another debut."

"In that case, Jinghou Changye is here, why bother to act against the sky."

"Could it be that this day is also waiting for the arrival of night?"

"Or is it coming in the night of fear?"

"Does it fear the night itself, or the moon that follows the night?"

……

……

The handwriting of the Buddha is very ordinary, no different from the teacher in the rural school in Gushan County. The sentences in the notes are also very casual and easy to understand.

Ning Que looked seriously, and Twilight fell on his face, making his eyebrows coated with a layer of golden luster, just like the golden statues of the venerables in the temple nave.

The Ming Script of the Book of Heaven has been in the academy, and was inserted at the waist by the senior brother. He has read it twice, but he is always a little confused. Today, seeing the notes left by the Buddha, he is finally convinced of something.

In the eyes of the Buddha, Yongye this time is different from the countless times that the world has encountered in the past. Then he remembered that the teacher did not believe in the invasion of the underworld, but never denied that the night will come. , I even mentioned that there was a butcher and an alcoholic who lived in the last eternal night.

The biggest difference between Yongye this time and the past is probably in the Mingzi, the moon in the Mingzi, and the thing that has never been seen in this world, and even the Master feels confused.

But why is there a moon in the Mingji scroll? There was a moon in this world countless years ago, but it disappeared strangely? Then, as the Buddha predicted, will it reappear in this eternal night?

……

……

The twilight dimmed, and the night gradually approached. Ning Que left the monastery and came to a cottage outside the tower in the backyard of Lanke Temple. Quietly listening to the sound of the brook behind the grass house, and then pushing in.

Master Qishan was not surprised by his arrival, and smiled and said, "Are there any gains?"

Ning Que did not answer this question, and asked: "Isn't it said that the Buddha's notes have been lost?"

Master Qishan said: "A note that no one can understand is equal to loss. I have read this note for nearly a hundred years, and I have never understood it. I hope you can understand it."

Ning Que was silent for a while and asked: "Master, why do you think I can understand?"

Master Qishan looked at him. His eyes are quite meaningful. Said: "Because the master said in the letter that if there is another person in the world who can read the notes of the Buddha, that person should be you."

Ning Que is in a complicated mood. Some shocked, some confused

Whether it is the Buddha who has read the Ming scroll and left notes countless years ago, or the Guangming priest who took this volume away from Zhishouguan thousands of years ago. Or a master who is so admiring, it is very difficult to understand the script.

Because no matter how wise people are, they can't analyze things that have never appeared in their world and experience, but can only guess, and Ning Que is the only exception.

Ning Que knew that the Master had written a letter to Master Qishan, and the senior brother had also written a letter. Originally thought it was only a mention of Sangsang’s illness, he asked Master to take care of it, but he did not expect that there would be this level. meaning.

Could it be said that the teacher guessed his origin?

……

……

Master Qishan took Ning Que out of the grass house. Came to the forest.

The mountain stream flows slowly among the pine forests. After the continuous autumn rain, the night sky is clear and the stars are clear. It falls on the pine stream, scattered with countless fine silver chips, which is very beautiful.

Looking at the night scene. Ning Que remembered two lines of poem subconsciously.

The bright moon shines among the pine trees, and the clear spring stone flows up.

He turned to look at the master and asked: "Master, why do you want to teach me Dharma?"

Master Qishan looked at him and sighed and said: "Because you have killed too many people and your hostility is too heavy. It is not good for others or yourself, so I want to use Buddhism to resolve the hostility in your heart."

Ning Que said in a weak voice: "Leaving Weicheng and returning to Chang'an. I am joking and playing rogues. I thought that the blood on my body has faded a lot. No one can see how terrible and cold-blooded I am. I still can't hide from the eyes of the master."

Master Qishan looked at him and said, "I said on the mountain the night before. I know that you had a hard life in the first half of your life, so I don’t think it’s your responsibility. However, now that you have entered the world for the academy, I I have to consider for the world, so that the future world will not be **** by you, no wonder I have to let you learn Buddhism."

Ning Que calmed down and said, "No one likes killing but a madman. I am not a lunatic, so I don’t like it either. In the past, killing people was because they would die if they didn’t kill. If you can live without killing, it’s natural. Well, I like it very much, how can I blame the master."

……

……

Don't want Sangsang to be distracted from the Buddhist scriptures, let alone worry about herself, Ning Que didn't tell her about the Buddha's notes, went into the back hall of Lanke Temple, lit a copper lamp, and continued to watch carefully.

In addition to prophecies of the future, the Buddha's notes of more than ten pages also record some of his understanding of the world, and more importantly, his methods of understanding the world, such as his insights into darkness and light.

There is great wisdom in these words, but it is a pity that when the Buddha wrote on paper, he was not deliberately written, so it seems a little short and casual, and it is difficult to form a system, otherwise Ning Que will definitely get great benefits.

In addition, there are a few idle notes left occasionally when the Buddha was prosperous. Through these idle pens, Ning Que knew that Buddhism was not founded by the Buddha.

Before the Buddha, there were more ancient Buddhas who even spent the eternal night, but because the Buddha realized the most fundamental ideas of the current Buddhism under the tree, the Buddha is revered as the earliest Buddha by today's Buddhist disciples.

Ning Que remembered that the Master once described the Buddha's enlightenment as "shut up" and couldn't help laughing.

Whether the master or the second senior brothers ridicule Buddhism, this only represents the disposition of the academy itself, and does not mean that Buddhism can be ignored.

Being able to read the notes of the Buddha is not a great opportunity that everyone can meet. Ning Que is still a little unwilling to feel fortunate. I don’t know if the memory of reading in the old bookstore was too deep, looking at the notes. The ordinary handwriting left by the Buddha himself. He subconsciously used the Eight Methods of Yongzi.

At the beginning, he couldn't practice, but wanted to read the wise writings of the academy. He forcibly came up with such a method of dismantling characters. He vomited blood all the way in a coma. In the end it proved that although it was useful, it was really not useful.

After he is able to practice, especially after entering the cave profound realm, the Eight Methods of Eternal Character is for practice. It has become a chicken rib. It has been a long time, all disappeared in his life.

At this time, facing the Buddha's notes, he used the Eight Methods of Yongzi. In fact, I didn't think about what effect it could have. It was just a futile attempt when facing Baoshan and unwilling to return empty-handed.

But the next moment. Ning Que found it difficult to understand that his attempt seemed to have worked.

With a soft buzz, his sea of consciousness suddenly opened.

The ink characters on the Buddha's notes gradually floated in his eyes, and then gradually spread out, becoming densely separated strokes, some of the strokes hanging straight down, like a Buddha's pestle, some of the strokes are thicker . It resembles a Buddha bell, some strokes resemble a bronze bowl held in the hands of a monk, and some strokes resemble a Buddha bell in a pavilion.

These strokes drifted away from the pages of the notebook, drifted into his eyes, and then entered his sea of consciousness, constantly flying in his spiritual world, reconstructing a picture that he could not understand.

……

……

Ning Que put down the Buddha's notes. Look to the side of the hall.

Lanke Temple enshrines the statues of Lord Stone. There are more than a dozen statues in the front temple. In the deepest apse, there are also four. He saw it at this time. These are the four statues of the Venerable.

There are also these stone statues in the Wanyan Pagoda Temple in Chang'an and the White Pagoda Temple in the Moon Kingdom. Legend has it that people with great wisdom can comprehend the true meaning of Buddhism mudra from these statues.

A few days ago, the Southern Jin Jiange strong man, Mr. Cheng, who already knew his fate, used to be in the front temple side hall, facing the stone statue with emotion, he could feel the wisdom in it, but could not comprehend it. .

The stone statue on the far right side of the apse has a hideous face and wide-eyed eyes. The hands of the stone statue are bare, seemingly untouched, forming a very complex hand style, with a solemn and murderous breath from the stone statue. Gushing out between fingers.

Ning Que quietly looked at the statue of Venerable Stone for a long time, then he raised his hands and compared the hands of the statue of Venerable Stone, and began to imitate the hand style.

The hands of the statue of Venerable Stone kept a fixed posture. Ning Que was clearly imitating, but his hands were not static. Instead, they moved slowly in front of him, making gestures.

At this moment, there was a piece of consciousness in the depths of the sea of consciousness. It seemed that he had sensed something. It brightened slightly, releasing a very thin thought, and then disappeared into peace.

Ning Que understood the true meaning of the hand-like posture of the Stone Master, and his hands gradually stopped.

He has one palm upright in front and one palm horizontally behind him. His right index finger is slightly bent in the air, and his left index finger falls on the back of his right palm. It looks very inexplicable without any aesthetic feeling.

This posture is not the same as the hand style of the stone statue, and there is not even the slightest similarity. However, at the moment his left index finger fell on the back of his palm, there was a murderous breath almost identical to the stone statue. Appeared.

The dewdrops in Ning Que's abdomen condensed from the awe-inspiring air began to rotate slowly, releasing one after another pure and awe-inspiring air, which was transported to all parts of the body along the seemingly absent passages.

He practiced Hao Ranqi day and night, worked hard, and was no stranger to Hao Ranqi's operation. However, he discovered that Hao Ranqi's operation seemed to be very different from before.

The biggest difference is that the Haoran Qi in his body is no longer as tyrannical and uninhibited as before, but has become a lot more peaceful and supple. Even the most subtle qi can be fully grasped as long as he moves his mind.

Haoran Qi circulated in his body for three weeks, Ning Que only felt comfortable all over, and his perceptions were so beautiful that he didn't hold back a sigh of satisfaction and floated in the quiet night hall.

Then he looked down at a stone statue.

……

(Today is only two chapters. I go to bed earlier to regain my spirit. Tomorrow the last day of the month end, I will fight for a big outbreak.)
